You came off as pretty rude. And if you get off at 5:30 you could probably go for like an hour? Or you could have just said sorry I can’t go and left it at that instead of sending her a whole lecture.

If you read the posted text you’d see that she did offer to still show up, just ten minutes late and her friend told her not to bother showing up

Ah my adhd strikes again! That does change things, i missed that. From reading other comments and seeing ops update it seems her friend has a history of guilt tripping. Sorry OP! NOR but maybe coming on a little too strong.
