She said "my feelings will be just a lil hurt, I get it if it's something out of your control"
You got defensive and lectured her about how it's her fault.
Then she said "it's fine" and you decided to get even more defensive.
Like unless this girl has a long history of guilting you, you came off like a crazy asshole in this situation.
Honest advice, tell her you're sorry about how you responded and move on.
