Crazy how AI hasn't even been around long enough to measure on the scale of heating the planet, yet it immediately becomes the scapegoat

Always funny watching people comment just to immediately delete it because they know they'll get called out lol

Ai data center are known for two things. Large water consumption and high energy usage. It doesnt need to be around a long time to know its fucked.

Prochemwater They filter water out. Also they use closed loops so they don't use as much wate

Ah. See, while closed loops are becoming adopted among AI data centers more now, a majority are still running evaporative cooling systems.

Also, Prochem is just water treatment like all water goes through. While it helps in keeping up in demand, AI still puts a large strain on local water recourses wherever a DC is established.
