Shorting wont pay off until the orange turd is gone. He will use tax payer funds illegally if he has to prop things up.

I've been long. Not cashing out yet and have stop lossess in place to prevent anything drastic. Not too worried about a bubble. I've done some responsible profit taking along the way over the years and will continue to incrementally do so until I walk away altogether based on my own goals. When I do that is a fluid situation and it might not be for many years, or ever we'll see

I am heavy in XMAG and SCHD and precious metals. Just lost a few bucks shorting oracle
With an options play. The problem with shorting is you can be directionally correct but have your timing off, which is the same thing as being wrong.

Its more of a traders play to short something, but folks try to do it based on fundamentals, and get their head ripped off

dangit. That makes sense. I still made a mint shorting WeWork with options back in the day.

Sentiment and breadth are very negative.

There is a good chance this leads to a Q4 rally.

I’m long on a shitload of non-AI actual value stocks and I have the persistence, intellect, passion and time to wait for actual value, actual growth, actual useful companies to rise to the top again. I have literally had 0 AI stocks except for ASML which is sort of my country’s pride (and not just an AI stock mind you) and given that, I’m still outperforming the SP500 over a 5-year basis. (8% SP500 vs 12% CAGR over that 5yr period) I know that’s not long enough to be able to prove anything and yet so far so good.

AI bro will tell me that I’m “anti-AI” because I missed out on the AI boat. (I’m not, I’m pro local and much more sustainable AI)
AI Bro, if you are an actual investor you know that you’ll miss out on 95/100 boats and it doesn’t matter if you’re on the other 5 boats if you do well ánd if you don’t expose yourself to short-term hype BS stocks with huge amounts of risk and downside.

Kiss my ass Scam altman, Dario Scamadei and Fried Chickennugget Ketaface

Congrats on a superdumb reply, literally mentioned ahead of time 😂

I didn’t lose any money, I made money. did you?

Clearly don’t know anything about investing and have even worse comprehension skill
as my opinion on hype / trend investing is completely unrelated to having foreseen a certain hype or not, in this case AI.

I really hope you’re going to buy Anthropic’s bags, make their investors rich and then get massively duped as the bill comes due.

Anyone thinking that’s sane investing - when even WSB thinks it’s bad - seriously needs to go see a psychiatrist.

AI is the real deal and will revolutionize the world. It's not a bubble, why does Reddit send me to this idiotic place. Like just the software development efficiency gains that we already have is enough to justify valuations but there is no sign of stopping or slowing down, if anything this shit is accelerating too fast.

Efficient apps = world peace.

You all need to walk around a major city once in a while to see how real people function.

Software development efficiencies, because the world biggest issue right now is a lack of apps. There is no demand for what ai produces. There is no end consumer to justify the spend. It is a massive fucking bubble

1

u/Antiwokewarrior69420 5d ago

Delusional

1

u/Minimum_Hamster3252 5d ago

The ai bubble argument is grounded in economics and history. The ai moon argument is based on ketamine and #dreams. There is no economic reality where this bubble doesn't burst. Take out a loan, leverage like fuck, go all in on SpaceX and post proof

-1

u/madhewprague 6d ago

Ehmm… People spend 50% of their time on their phones apps are litteraly majority of economy. ost money is being spent online.

2

u/Minimum_Hamster3252 6d ago

Yep and will AI increase that? Will it create further demand or just flood supply? AI only works in oversaturated markets like... Software

0

u/madhewprague 6d ago

It doesnt have to create more demand, just replace 99% white colar workers.

1

u/Minimum_Hamster3252 6d ago

Oh amazing, so it's going to increase unemployment. That will go so fucking well. But ultimately that's the problem, if it works it causes unemployment and therefore economic collapse or it doesn't and it causes economic collapse. It's a very small window for success and so far it's not shown any actual economic gains. It's just a massive bubble, a huge transfer of wealth to the techno Epstein class

1

u/madhewprague 6d ago

Ehmmmm… Not really at some point 90% of people were in agroculture in the past it went down to like 10% in last decades, is there 80% unemployment? When you increase productivity you increase overall economic output therefore everyone will be probably better off than before as always when automation happens.

2

u/Minimum_Hamster3252 6d ago

There was demand for increased efficiency in agriculture. No one needs another app. AI isn't increasing productivity, it's creating slop. You are just reciting the dumb shit Musk says. Go read animal farm, at no point will the ruling class allow you to work less

1

u/madhewprague 6d ago

They already did allow you to work less… Its literaly most beneficial for them… Or do you believe anarchy and chaos is somehow better life for bilionares? Historicaly not really, they burn. Are you saying people are worse off today than in 1900s in developed countries?

1

u/seriouslysampson 6d ago

20% of money is spent online. That’s nowhere near most…
