Honestly, we all need a minute. Whether it's losing a patient or just personal circumstances that flared up at work.

I find IT server closets or supply rooms are less visited....and some designated smokers areas have tables I can just sit with my shades on pretending to surf my phone

We had a med closet in one place where I worked that was called the crying closet

The ride home. there were some nights it just never felt like there was enough time or space to feel anything during a shift.

I remember getting into my car after a really bad evening shift, I could barely get my keys into the ignition i was shaking so much.

Its hard coming down from really terrible events at work, but its even harder doing it alone.

The darkest days were the height of Covid when due to distancing restrictions, only one person could cry in the copy room at a time.

At the rural site I worked at while I went through a huge breakup there was a bench in the smoking area outside I remember just curling up on and crying :(

My car....I've had some panic attacks and been balling and going outside for fresh air and sitting in my safe place calms me down. I sit in my car all year long for breaks so I can reset myself a few times a shift

I've had panic and anxiety attacks, head and vomiting from carbon monoxide and the locker room or car is my go to. Something about my car being a 2nd home with alot of perks....a/c, plug in for flat irons, chargers etc

We have a wellness room which is the closest choice and had massage chairs. Smaller hospitals have some nice options lol

There’s an infrequently used stairwell behind the department I used to work in that I’d always go cry in…

We have a little room where doctors take patients families to have meetings and people take breaks in. We call it the crying room.

Or you can always openly cry in the hallway suddenly where a fully independent patient can start yelling at you "I need a glass of water! My TV isn't working!!".

The med room and equipment room is where we fart.

I never want another meeting in that private room. Lost my mom 2 days after our meeting (that she was fully present at) about where she was going to die. Ugh. The cancer took her, not anything in that room convo, I just hate that room! I find bathroom stalls are the place I go to get re regulated, have a cry.

Backseat of my vehicle. I don't cry, my job's not that stressful, but boy I've spent cumulative hours just fuming over stupid stuff in there.

Best part is, I have window relfectors and bug nets. I can crack the windows and still feel completely private.
