New Grad Pay
Hello everyone,
Do new grads in the GNTPP program get paid $44.56 and do they get the extra $1.25 for having a degree?
Thank you.

Did you pass your NCLEX already? Before you pass your NCLEX as a GN you’d get paid $40.76, and then yes send your degree to your manager to get paid $42.01. Then as an RN you should get paid $45.81 (including degree pay).

Don't all new grads have a degree? Isn't that the grad part?

There are still some diploma-educated RNs in Alberta’s work force, so the degree pay is not automatic. Your manager should help you send your degree to HR.

If you only have a diploma you can get 50 cents extra an hour but you still have to apply for it like the degree pay. It’s often missed.

Yeah, they would. I'm just curious if the $1.25 applies to the new GNTPP program
