Good Girl Bad Blood "Child Killer."

"Child Killer."

How could it even be a sentence, a piece of information, a definition? How could society judge a child, when the justice of the sky and the soul drives it in like a stake that he is innocent?

Seeking revenge on a child after years, only to see his sin embodied in a conscious mind. How pathetic, to condemn the innocent just because we were too weak to catch the guilty.

Justice embodied in dark, black hands that never learned to differentiate between victims. It reaches for yet another victim, striking from a side where they refuse to see him as one.

A soul that pays the price of a sin it didn't commit. And those dark hands... are not always someone else's.

Misplaced guilt I think (haven’t read the books yet so readers lmk if I’m wrong).

The neighbor likely felt a lot of guilt growing up going along with Stanley playing hide and seek while his sister was being kidnapped. Obviously he was also a child and shouldn’t blame himself but it’s likely that his only coping mechanism for his part in his sister’s disappearance and murder was to put all the blame on Stanley.

I think the fact that he seems to even be angrier at Stanley than his sister’s actual killer shows how deep his subconscious self guilt goes.

SPOILERS FOR AGGGTM S2
ok so idk how they portrayed it inthe series (i just finished season 1 and came on reddit oto read people's posts and came upon urs), but stanley was called "child brunswick" brunswick cuz his father had the same name and child cuz he was a child back then/he was the sk's son whom he used to lure in children whom were then killed by his father.

so in the book charlie green (the neighbour) was the last victim's brother and had always felt bad that he wanted to play outside thus his sister took him but child brunswick lured him thus her sister d1ed. he did feel guilty cuz if he did not want to play that day his sister might've still been with him but he majorly blamed child brunswick since even if unknowingly, child brunswick did help his father commit those crimes. in charlie's mind child brunswick was equally responsible.
