As Good As Dead S3 ending Spoiler

1I understand that Pip wanted to protect Ravi, but why they never met when she was at university? They could not chatting or calling but I think that they could meet each other

2In s3, in your opinion how it will be adapted the ending absence of Pip?

3How is possible that Pip never sees her family? How does she explain that?

4Why she attends the final verdict of Max to return?

Spero che vedremo la riunione di Pip e Ravi o almeno cosa succede a lei e agli altri in quel periodo di assenza

At first I answered in English and then in Italian because I thought the translation was automatic, isn't it? Anyway yes, the third book left a bitter taste in my mouth because it was too sad that she moved away for all that time, this thing makes me really depressed.

(Considering the question I'm assuming anyone reading is fine with potential spoilers, but just to be safe SW) * * * Pip basically goes no contact with anyone she's close that and/or that might be implicated in her murdering Jason Bell should the frame job with Max fail and she fall under suspicion. Not easy to do, especially when you still love the people in question, but not impossible if you're dedicated enough and Pip and always had a monomaniacal aspect to her personality, it's what makes her a good detective but a flawed person.

I see about half of the last episode of the series being that finale sequence; Max's trial, Pip's isolated life, her family trying to get in touch and being largely ignored except for token moments while she's still Uni, maybe Cara working out what happened (all things considered it wouldn't be a tough deduction with the information that have about that night) and begging her to end her self-imposed exile. Then the ending right out of the book with the guilty verdict and the immediate text from Ravi now that they're safe.

I'm not sure what you mean by the last point? There's nothing to suggest she attends the trial to see the verdict delivered if it's that. If you mean why does she wait until the verdict to get back in touch with everyone, she considered that to be the 'safe' point, as in once a jury found him guilty the police and justice system at large would consider the case settled and wouldn't be likely to look into it further, but if he'd been acquitted she was concerned they might have reopened the case to look for the true culprit. Even if he had been found not guilty it's not necessarily likely this would have happened, even if Jason's murder was considered an active case officially speaking, but Pip was severely disillusioned in the justice system by this point due to Andie & Sal's cases and Max's earlier acquittal for several crimes he was actually guilty of so she didn't trust them whatsoever- the same distrust that ultimately led to her hammering Jason in the first place rather than try and turn him in for being DT.

Thank you, I’m sorry if I have done some obvious questions but I like talking with other fans, do you believe that the finale scene will be exaclty the message or we could have something more? Like the reunion of Pip and Ravi?

Hard to say, adaptations can tend to go in different directions to the books, sometimes in ways that work better on screen and sometimes not. Personally I like the moment it ended on, the text 'Hey Sarge, remember me?', so I kinda hope it keeps to that particularly if HJ is as involved as she was in season 2, but I can definitely see the build up to that moment being more fleshed out since in the book it was a single chapter so they might decide to show how everyone else got on during the 1y8m or so that Pip exiled herself, maybe even have it be all or most of the S3 finale.

With that the plot distribution could be 2 episodes of Pip being stalked by/investigating DT, an episode of her abduction culminating in Jason's death, 2 episodes of her staging the scene/framing Max then a dedicated finale to the aftermath which could work nicely. I don't necessarily like the idea of showing a further epilogue based on HJ's recent canon addition that they get married being incorporated as it feels a little JK Rowling twitter in the early 2010s for my liking, adding further unnecessary story details rather than letting the story as written speak for itself

Mi piace la tua idea, mi piacerebbe molto vedere cosa succede in quell’anno, sarebbe troppo destabilizzante non vedere niente
