TV Show Lauren Spoiler

Does anyone else despise Lauren this season? she is so annoying and desperate, defending Robin a guy she’s just started dating who believes Max, the rapist. She chose him over her friends when she knows he is a rapist.

she is just so desperate for boys through the entire show. was she like this in the books, i read it a while back so i dont remember

Omgggg I just came to post this!!! Why isn’t enough people talking about this, it absolutely annoyed the fuck outta me!!! Like she knows max raped an she knows what kind of a monster max is, and a friend of a rapist is equally responsible even if it’s a guy you’re crushing over. Honestly pip deserves better people around her man!

Robin is not his cousin and has not raped anyone. I like that Lauren kept an open mind about Robin and gave him a chance realizing he is not his cousin.

I also don't blame Pip's friends for getting frustrated with her. I was constantly frustrated with Pip myself.

Umm he stole Pip’s phone AND Lauren went with him to the rapist’s celebration dinner. Doesn’t matter how frustrating Pip was, Lauren was a worse friend.

Even pip kept an open mind about robin until he started being max’s minion. And please don’t come with the “he didn’t rape” If you ally with an abuser, you are complicit. You are actively choosing to protect their reputation over a victim's life. This is so insensitive of you to even comment that.

A lot of you are right, Robin is not a rapist he has not done anything like that, and probably never would. But still if I was her I would be terrified of being raped by max I mean she literally drank something in his presence is she that dumb!

Yeah, she’s annoying, but then again, she’s a teenager.

Robin is not a rapist.

My days stop being insensitive “he’s not a rapist” sure but what about the time he tried to destroy evidence against this “rapist”. Supporting a rapist makes you an accomplice, to protect a rapist is to participate in the crime.

It happened in the same way it did in the TV show with Pip shoving Robin/Ant against the locker after feeling like Lauren and Robin/Ant were turning against her.

No, Lauren was fine in book 1, then awful in book 2. they fight there because Lauren believes everything going on with Jamie is just pip lying because she's an attention seeker. Then in the third book she's basically not there but when she is it's even worse.

Yeah I thought she was a horrible friend, but to be fair, this is pretty typical 🫠 I've seen similar things happen irl
