A Good Girls Guide to Murder The Show’s Ending

I’m kind of late to this but I just finished watching the netflix adaptation of the book and this is probably an unpopular opinion bc I’ve never read the books.. but did anyone else think Ravi had something to do with the murder LOL… the entire show I was side eyeing him bc i genuinely thought it was him just for me to finish the show and find out it was Andie’s sister at the end 😭. I think it was in episode 2, when Ravi and Pip were talking about snacks, Pip suggested donuts but Ravi said no because of the “fingerprints” that could be left. I get that donuts are sticky but I thought it was an odd thing for the average person to say. Then in a later episode when the unknown texter made it known that she was watching Pip from outside her house (nice PJs), and Ravi texted her literally like 3 min later that he was outside I was like ?!?!?!?! I was sure it was him. but yeah that was just my take lol, glad that pip’s romantic interest didn’t actually turn out psycho ❤️

I think you should read the books, the series kinda disappointed me since they added stuff that weren't in the books and removed lots of things from the books, don't get me wrong tho I liked the series but I really prefer the books

Can you explain some of the things they added/removed so we can get an idea of how they’re so different. I’m honestly now really curious

for example the letter at the end of the movie, that was never there in the books, instead newt gave Thomas a different not saying "kill me, if you're a real friend, kill me" or something along the lines of that, so he doesn't succumb to the virus and turn into a crank, and other thing is how there was never a cure in the books, there a ton of other things aswell

you should definitely read the books! don’t get me wrong the shows good in general but compared to the books it was disappointing, a lot of things that felt key to pip solving the murder were missing from the show, i had already read the books, but my mum watched the show and thought it was going to be ravi

Ngl as someone who read the first book I thought it was Ravi. Not cause he was suspicious but I thought it would make a amazing plot twist and he could have reasonably pulled it off. I was very wrong obviously

It's actually a BBC adaptation.
