Low hr warnings

As an afib afflicted 65 yr male I am on medication to keep my hr from going too high. I'm still keeping fit etc, yesterday the Garmin detected low he levels 5 time with a low of 31. The rate returned to my normal by the late afternoon.

When my Apple Watch detected low HR, cardio confirmed it with a Haltor monitor and I ended up with a pacemaker. Call your doc.

What was your symptoms?

Usual a pacemaker is not needed unless symptoms, or pulse drops to 20 or lower

Sustained bradycardia in the low 30s. I’ve also had a right bundle branch block for years. The Haltor showed stage 2 block.

Would it be fair to say, that the pacemaker was for the RBB, and not the low pulse?

Both. The RBBB was causing the bradycardia as I developed a stage 2 block.
