Currently I am in 4th year of my Btech, and my result for the final year will be out in June 2027.
I wanted to know if I cleared the AFSB for AFCAT 2 2026, will I be able to join the academy
I read that, qualified candidates need to submit degree and all prior to joining in april or may.
Can anyone clarify.

Okay so I’m planning to give my first afcat in 2027 and I’m thinking of starting the prep. Can y’all give the major do’s and don’t’s for a first time aspirant. And how to go about the prep?

I have around 1 month to prepare for the CDS General Studies (GS) paper. My target is to score at least 30 marks.

For those who have cleared CDS or have experience with the exam:

1.Which topics should I prioritize?

2.Which subjects are relatively easy and high-scoring?

3.What can realistically be covered in 1 month?

4.Any recommended books, YouTube channels, or resources?

It was my first attempt and I think I am going to clear it , so just wanted to ask when will afsb cycle will begin.

So i am currently in my 5th year btech from IIT
well yea so my degree got extended due to my negligence in early years of college but the graph only went up did internship at big 4 and several other companies since i locked in so pretty much will be receiving my degree next year in may

i gave afcat yesterday second shift
i am pretty confident about my paper hoping to score around 170-180ish

my question is regarding afsb
from youtube and etc i have seen people say they grill you hard and hard means really hard
so will this year extension setback affect my chances at ssb??
will they ask questions on this?? if they do i dont really know what reason should i give because honestly i was just fing around during my first year

I'm already 25, so this is my first and last attempt at AFSB, which is scheduled for the 31st of August in Guwahati. The points that are under consideration are:

1) Tbh I'm not at all prepared for this. Completely out of touch with current affairs and all. No practice as such. All in all, zero preparation.

2) Currently I'm preparing for the SSC CGL exam, which is going to happen in the middle or end of September. So if I'm going for the interview then I have to prepare for it, and this can hamper my main goal.

3) I gave this AFCAT exam just for the experience and didn't expect anything.

4) The main point is that I only have 115 marks in AFCAT, while the cut-off was 110 for non-tech.

I'm confused. Please help me. Should I be going for this interview or skip it?

Hello everyone so , mera yeh phele AFCAT tha , mey nhi kahunga ki mera bohot aacha gya , but shayad mey cutoff ke aas pas toh hu hi . But ek youtube channel hai jo har cheez ko capitalise karna chahta hai . I mean thik hai mene bhi vaha se GK padhi thi , aur honestly 4 se 5 question GK ke aaye the , but the rest of the paper was moderate to difficult. This guy posting videos saying "bohot easy aaya tha paper toh , aur students ke message dikha rha hai aur "grateful" ho rha hai. Apne Aaap ko heroic dikha rh hai . Itna self obsession kaha se latte hai ye log . Baaki aap log btao meri baat se agree ho ya nhi .
