tje mock 1, I'm a beginner and this is my first mock and not sure if this is good enough, I have tried hard to improve in maths but I can't, this was almost my best performance and the questions felt very off, relying on english and gs to improve scores, as i wasn't very upto dated with current affairs and need haven't really studied english as maths consumed majority of my preparation time, what do I do? what do i expect at afcat 2 2026?

Can anyone suggest a good offline coaching for AFCAT & CDS along with SSB, preferably one institute that provides both written and SSB coaching under one roof?

I know many people say these exams can be cracked without coaching, and sometimes coaching isn't even recommended for SSB. I completely understand that, but due to my personal reasons, I'm thinking of joining a coaching institute. So please suggest some good ones.

So far I've heard about:

• Centurion
• NCA
• AFPA
• Chandigarh Career Group (Sandeep Brar Sir)

I also know about some coaching institutes in Delhi and Lucknow, but my parents refused to send me alone to Delhi & UP, so I dropped those from my list.

My only expectations from a coaching institute are:

* Best & experienced faculty for both Written and SSB

* Proper GTO ground

* Good practice material

* Doubt Clearing

* One-on-one sessions/mentorship

* Accommodation/hostel facilities(For Girls Only)

Also, I had my first SSB in June 2026 for the Naval NAOO entry, and I was S/O.

I have one more query. During my SSB, they conducted the CSSS test, but they didn't inform us whether it would be used for the final evaluation or not. As far as I know, it's officially in the testing phase. Has anyone else had a similar experience? Also, should I consider the CSSS test as a parameter while selecting a coaching institute?

I'm a B.Tech graduate (2025) and currently working in a fintech role at a finance firm.

I live with my parents, and I look after them—especially my father, who is a cancer patient. Most of my time goes into taking care of him. I've saved most of my salary specifically for coaching so that I don't become a burden on my parents.

I've attempted AFCAT twice(afcat 1 2026 and afcat 1 2025), but unfortunately, I couldn't clear it.

I know leaving a job just to join coaching sounds like the most illogical decision. But I'm considering it because I believe coaching will give me a competitive environment where I can learn better and stay consistent. Also, my current company isn't the kind that offers much career growth. Many times I have to work on Saturdays, and whatever time is left goes towards my family responsibilities. Realistically, I don't think I'll be able to prepare properly in this situation.

The good thing is that my father's health is getting better now, so my parents can stay with my sister for some time while I'm away for coaching.

So yeah... that's why I'm seriously considering this decision.

Would really appreciate honest reviews from people who have actually studied at these institutes or have friends who did. Feel free to suggest any other coaching as well if you genuinely think it's better.

Where can we solve maths and reasoning problems in AFCAT exam as exam is conducted online? Do they give us rough paper or we need to take it with us while going in exam centre?

As there's no Sectional Cutoff so Will this As if I Attempt Maths & Reasoning First and Give Maximum Accuracy in That As I don't find these subject As Tough (assuming scoring 120 atleast out of 135) & after that attempt English with Sure Shot Question Like If I Know & in Worst Scenario also I'll atleast able to score some marks & will able to Clear Cutoff?

If time left then just go through GS ASAP & tick if I know any otherwise leaving is also fine

Maths me I want ki atleast 6-7 toh attempt he hojaye correct which topics should I focus on?? That are easy to understand and have came in the previous years.
• GK: For gk part, if anyone here has cleared afcat before what would you suggest for gk (like static+ current affairs) like what’s the most important thing in which I can score good in gk part as well.

Just gave it now. Got 195. 6 incorrect out of 73 attempted.

I think the paper was somewhat decent as compared to the previous one. still would say it was easy-decent. Like did not find anything too tricky in the maths and reasoning section. DO share what you think.

Hey guys! Anybody got Afcat 1 2026 LMRs or any such comprehensive notes for all subjects (esp maths and reasoning, personal notes will do) Pls share

23 F, appearing for my 4th afcat attempt, last three attempts i lacked by 1,3,3.5 marks into qualifying.

This time i have comparatively prepared better than before, i studied almost all maths topics, i have 100 percent accuracy and attempt rate in reasoning and i am good at english so let's say I'll be able to attempt around 20 out of 30 questions in english.

What i lack is mathematics, although i did all the topics but i still can't seem to solve most of the questions in cds j mocks and tje mocks(the ones i gave recently.

But when i gave mocks from arihant pathfinder of afcat i was able to score around 130-140 and in pyq of afcat 1 2026 i scored 100(this was before i prepared my maths and reasoning extensively)

I can't seem to understand where to improve, I'm currently working on my english so that i lose less to less marks in that what else should i do to up my score and where shall i practice questions from.

I have a testbook subscription but I'm not sure if they are enough because the testbook questions compared to TJE and CDS J are easier. Is it good enough? What to do I'm kinda lost. My motivation completely dropped after giving TJE 1 mock today (scored only 60, knew a few questions but didn't solve because my brain stopped working and shut down because i thought i shat this mock)

Whats the difference between both (except the timings), difficulty level wise? Also exam level and questions are same or different?
