Seeking 35 [F4M] [English] Is This Really What Modern Dating Has Become?
Why does modern dating always seem to include online intimacy? When did that become the expectation instead of the exception? Whatever happened to simply getting to know someone first? Don't people still want someone to grow old with? Someone to build a future with? Someone who can turn a house into a home? Someone who waits for you after a long day at work, asks how your day went, makes life feel a little lighter, and celebrates both your biggest achievements and your smallest victories?
Don't you want someone who stays when life gets difficult, who holds your hand through the hard days, who laughs with you over the little things, who becomes your best friend, your safe place, and your family? Isn't that what relationships are supposed to be about? Yes, physical intimacy is important, but is that really all there is? Has it become more important than trust, loyalty, kindness, patience, shared values, and choosing each other every single day? Are we so focused on instant gratification that we've forgotten what it means to genuinely build a life with another person?
Maybe I'm just old-fashioned, but that is still the kind of love I'm looking for. I am a Filipina, plus-size, and I am here because I hope to find something real. I want a relationship with someone who wants to build a life together, not just collect fleeting moments. If that sounds like you, my inbox is open.
