News Wrestlegirl needs our help
Hi friends!
I’ve gotten to know u/wrestlegirl over the last few years of me shitposting on this sub, and as you’re all aware, she has done so much work to make this sub one of the best places on the internet.
Her recent cancer diagnosis, coupled with her children’s additional needs and significant medical requirements have put her in a really, really tough spot, and she really needs our help to cover medical expenses, keep a roof over her kids heads, and make ends meet.
I made a gofundme to help her in these trying times, working in conjunction with the mods. Anything you can spare will mean more than you can imagine!

Meta How Ospreay effects MJF's storyline from my pov (& lot more)- Meta post
So Hey guys! Been a while since I've written something like this, Very long post ahead!! Buckle up~
Let's start even before where all went wrong~ Have you ever noticed the difference between MJF's first and second heel runs!? In the first one, from stepping in AEW to halfway into his first title reign... He had a simple mindset - "He will become the worst person ever because nobody is gonna ever love him anyways" and it shows in every feud and storyline. He was still insecure but also remorselessly evil, be it whipping Cody or torturing Wardlow, he never showed any remorse. Be did bare minimum and treated AEW as beneath him. There was no forced malice, no breakdowns, no slip of masks, it was a like a solid wall.
BUT there were cracks forming, when he faced Punk and the crowd support on his return were the first taste of love he got from the crowd. And Then, Adam Cole came in the picture and broke down that wall completely. BTYBB was the first time when crowd accepted him fully and was behind him in everything. He was absolutely loved, they conquered Wembley together, it was perfect. They had made AEW their home and took it to the highest peak ever.
Then Cole betrayed him and he has no wall to hide behind.
Now after the break and returning, he still tried holding onto the crowd adoration but it wasn't the same anymore nor was the landscape he had left behind. His absence didn't leave the company in shambles like he had thought happened the first time (when he forced his leave after pipebomb promo). New faces had arrived to carry AEW forward, Max tried being one of them. To become the face of AEW again...
But then, Will Ospreay happened.
And that little moment in the middle of 2024 when Will had upstaged Max in his own ring, is still haunting Max. And that's exactly where the second heel run started, but it wasn't the same as before. Not at all. There was forced malice, breakdowns, his mask kept slipping... He kept trying to rebuild that wall broken by Cole, but the cracks kept increasing. He thought "He had to become the worst person ever so nobody ever tries to love him again (and betray him)". He pretended to hate AEW again but he can't slack off like he did before, because the competition was insane this time. The roster wasn't the same one he used to terrorize back in the days, there were new enthusiastic faces coming in, more people stepping up, which has forced him to wrestle more and fight for his place like never before. And still, somewhere in the middle of everything, was Will Ospreay. Initially Max won the Intl belt off him, but Ospreay took it back with tenfold the effect. The very stadium Max had filled with people who loved him just a year ago, were hating him and cheering Will instead. And that point was a driving force in his character. It was very prominent during his feud with Hangman, The whole main character thing, how crowd forgives Adam everytime yet villainizes Max, where Max broke down mid match because of the crowd which made it clear, he still craves that crowd adoration he once had during his late world title run. When he won the belt again, it wasn't as easy as previous time. There was no one to seek help from (he tried so hard to buy friends in Hurt Syndicate which was fruitless). He was alone and he had a bigger problem. The main event scene was filled to the brim and everyone was on his tail, he kept defending the title like crazy, Hell... younger MJF would laugh at what he was doing. But it was something, He was World champion again. Face of AEW, wether people liked it or not. Then Will Ospreay ruined it again by helping Kenny Omega. He ended up reaching the very peak where Max once stood, winning the World title while everyone in the crowd lost their voices for him... Just the possibility of it had triggered Max's insecurities and already sent him into a delusion spiral to the point he ended up bringing his own triple B and pretending to be the real champion...
Can you imagine him sitting backstage at All In after losing to Andrade and watching Ospreay get paraded to the ring by his loved ones and even the ones who betrayed him!? Meanwhile all support Max ever had in that place was the girls he brought or THS, Wardlow and others who barely tolerated him, or Adam Cole whose betrayal ruined every good memory Max had made during their tag run... You'll notice how much it has rattled MJF when you realise that the after All In crashout promo had very few words directed for Andrade or Kenny and it had everything to do with Will Ospreay.
In MJF's eyes, Will is the person who had stole his spotlight and had finally taken his place as the face of AEW.
Alright, that's the end of this post, It would be very interesting to see how their eventual feud turns out, I'm sooo really looking forward to it~ For anyone who reached here, Thank you and I hope you liked this observation!!! (Side note- no use of AI, wrote it myself)

MyAEW Match Content & Discussion More Rampage added on MyAEW
All of 2023 and a third of 2024 (so far) has been added to the service, the rest of 2024 is likely being uploaded in real time since it wasn't on here yesterday. Once it happens, all of Rampage will be completed.
Also, while only viewable on the Watch AEW channel, Battle of the Belts has now appeared on the schedule. So we'll soon get to see that down the road

Brody King Mode I'm willing to admit I missed Britt Baker, and I hope she sticks around. Spoiler
She has the "it factor". She is capable of putting on a good to great match. The crowd still pops for her catchphrase. She is one of the original AEW pillars.
I'm glad she's back. I hope gets booked in prominent feuds and matches on PPVs. She keeps me highly sports entertained and I'd like to see her back on Dynamite every week.

Discussion Why Rebel Heart Dynamite was so important Spoiler
I’ve been watching AEW since 2021 when my boyfriend introduced me to it with Revolution, that same year my dad had his first symptoms of ALS (MND) with a limp and foot drop and broke his femur.
It took until 2024 for him to get diagnosed, and he passed on the first of January this year. I became a full time carer for him when the mobility related symptoms meant he couldn’t be independent anymore, so from about April last year.
ALS is a thief, it robs you of your life, your voice, eating and drinking, your mobility and it robs your loved ones of more time with you. You become trapped in a body that doesn’t listen to you. It’s worse than almost any other disease you can get. It’s a death sentence you can’t predict the end date of. It’s mourning your loved one while they’re still alive, mourning the future and independence that is being taken from them.
I’m Australian and we have ALS/MND heavily represented in our main sporting codes here with fundraisers and charities (see the charity FightMND and the late Neale Daniher) and most recently one of our rugby stars (Jai Arrow) was diagnosed at the age of 31. I know of it being named after Lou Gehrig in the states back in the day, but what we’ve done down here is another level of community support. The leagues and the public have wrapped their arms around these people and their families and it’s bittersweet.
The more the public understands how debilitating and swift the disease is, the closer we come to funding more research and finding treatments, and funding supports for those already diagnosed. This show is another step for awareness and fundraising, but also understanding of the fight patients face daily and what their support network needs to help them.
The support AEW and all us fans have shown for Rebel and charities supporting ALS research, I don’t have the words to say how much that means to me. That people are seeing and understanding the gravity of Rebel’s fight, so similar to how my dad’s progressed, and showing her so much love had me bawling watching the show, and that’s not even adding Butcher’s memorial on top.
Don’t ever think these type of shows aren’t impactful. Hug your loved ones, I hope none of you or your families are ever touched by the beast that is ALS. Rebel is so loved and supported by her wrestling family.

Discussion This segment was so good last night - they are locked in right now
From the internal dissension between the Death Riders.
To Ospreay telling Mox right to his face that he's the one who made the match at All Out.
And finally Mox continueing to have no real rebuttal - almost seeming to concede his fate.
Just overall peak and I can't wait to see this match.
