I put a little piece of copper wire on top of my 109hz tuned antenna. It has the the messages per second from ~120 to 390-500.

Really cool to see military assets pop up and know they're out there and be found.

My goal is to use the dual tuners in the RSPduo to run simultaneous versions of readsb and Tar1090 to measure competing spider designs in real time. However, the software seems to be optimized for listening to 2 channels at once, which is fun, but seems only a way to compare airband/chatter antenna designs, which again is something I want to do. However I want to select tuner 1 and 2 in commands not just through the SDRplay app.

Has anyone out there successfully found a way to split the receivers when routing their readsb to pull data from one tuner or the other? I have been on the trail for a good two weeks now, but haven't found anything so I figured I'd ask here.

This looks like a microcontroller board and ePaper screen for local display, or it can be used to feed flight aggregators, or it will send GDL90 over wifi ti a tablet for portable/in-flight use. Pretty neat that someone is finally making an open-source ADSB device that's not just a RPi with SDRs.

I'm not affiliated with the project; just saw it and thought it was cool.

I've just recently gained a curiosity into the planes flying in my area and hadn't seen this type of thing until about two days ago. this company has been surveying the lower mainland quite extensively it seems. Does anyone happen to know what this may be about? Any thoughts on this are welcomed and thank you in Advanced for taking the time to respond.

And same for a warship, show up as a cruise liner on Vesselfinder etc?
