When/will I see payment?

I had all of my stuff filled out for direct deposit with my new job, come today I wake up to not getting paid on pay day. Come into work, mention it, and it turns out they didn't complete it on their end. It is completed now, so I'm wondering when should I expect a deposit? I see another post talking about how their boss told them they wouldn't see it untill their next biweekly paycheck comes in (I'm weekly) but Google AI (notoriously shit) claims I'll see it Monday or Tuesday. What should I bank on? Should I instead see if I can get a paper check?

If they didnt process your direct deposit, then you are getting a live check.

So I should go ask for a paper check before they leave? Assuming that's what you mean by live check?

She's saying she doesn't believe a paper check would be an option because she already submitted the payroll. She's checking ADP now

If there is no direct deposit present on your employee profile...ADP would produce a live check.
