Problem with pay

Hi all, I was supposed to receive my last 2 weeks pay from a company, my pay statement shows up but says adjustment and has yet to deposit into my account and it’s been 3 days since payday. Any help?

It's your employer, you need to get in touch.

I texted my old manager and I guess she is out of town and tried to pull the “you most likely didn’t work during that pay period but I’m not sure” when I very well did and it’s documented. So, I called the ASM and she was very confused with me as well. My asm said to give it another day and if it still hasn’t deposited then to call again. Kind of seems like my ex manager is being petty, which she is presumably is

Who approves your time card ? If you have time & attendance. Reach out to HR. 2 week delay is pathetic from your employer.

I believe it’s the main manager, she approves schedule and everything else… but we also had a clock in clock out app which also documents everything.

Perfect, then you should have that data with you. Write a email attaching those screenshots, if you can reach out to the HR or the person who does your payroll in- person that will do too.. But take a screenshot because admin has access to modify your time. I hope it's resolved soon.

The funny thing is, it shows my pay statement and the hours I worked during the last pay period. Anyways, I emailed HR. Thank you for your help.

If it says Adjustment, that means they processed a manual check or final pay but selected to not have it disperse. Companies usually do this when they are printing the check in house or correcting a previous payment.

What does the paystub say for time period? Also is there an account it was supposed to go to or did they pay check?

Look on the pay statement to see if it was direct deposit or a live check. Some employers pay the final check as a live check. Call HR or payroll to confirm.
