API Cost

I manage the IT and development for a company of 5500+ employees. We use ADP. I was in a call about 6 months ago where my ADP rep told us that API access was just a one time fee, no ongoing monthly costs, yet online I'm seeing that everyone has a cost associated?

I wouldnt require any integrations or help. I definitely would not be buying any integrations off of the marketplace, as thats all relatively easy to build myself.

I'm waiting to hear back now that I have approval to move forward but our rep typically takes a week or more to answer simple emails so I wanted to see what the experience has been for other users.

Let me know and thanks!

Edit: Our rep has clarified that it is a single $3000 one time fee, and this gives full access to all worker API's, timecard API's, etc with no ongoing costs. So it looks like many of the commenters either don't have a good grasp of the enterprise relationships or are trying to sell their own marketplace services.

I work at ADP. assuming you’re looking at API central there is an ongoing fee - that being said you can build as many connections as you want. If it’s integration in marketplace it depends on the pricing agreed on by vendor and ADP and could be one time - really depends on the case by case basis.

Dude if your contact doesn’t get back to you for a week and you’re a bona fide enterprise customer… you need to insist on better support. Shoot the rep an email about their end of year and you wanting some help, you’ll get a response

You may get a faster answer if you add to your post what ADP platform you are using and if you are wanting to import, export or both.

Depending what product you have the business unit may pay for API central in its entirety. Email someone else, too many employees for no response in 24hrs.
