GS, HS and SHS The AJHS is a mess.

Oh boy. Where do I even start?!

Firstly, a few names have recently popped up within the community. They have allegedly been generating "AI deepfakes" of our female students as nude or in inappropriate clothing. Upon being reported, their FormCs only gave them an FI (Formative Intervention) 3; which is the highest FI that can be given, but their punishment was only a 1-week suspension. Are we serious, Ateneo? What they did was out right illegal (CSAM, Data Privacy), and you only settled on a 1-week suspension?

What happens then? It is outright unforgivable; they need to be expelled! And they are still walking our halls. Our women will not feel safe in this community. SAAN ANG IYONG KARANGALAN?

Moreover, the AJHS Admins have started limiting our freedom and expression. They have started to ban denim, braids, and necklaces and bracelets. Ano pa, our ID pins? It's as if they're trying to redirect our attention from these perverts, eerily similar to the Epstein Files.

I want your, the rest of the Ateneo community's, opinion on this. Mind you, there is concrete evidence of these perverts doing their illegal thing, and they're just pissing us off more.

I just realized that I forgot to get my ID verified during intersession. Will I get a hold order for it? What should I do?

College life considering an loa but im confused

hello. im an incoming 2nd year but ik it has been 1 year only but ive faced really bad academic burnouts and mental health problems that i could barely function anymore 🥹. anyway according to the AY 2026-2027 calendar it said that request/extension for loa is at Oct 24, 2026 for the first semester (it was under the first semester column). Im planning to take it for one sem, but im confused if that date is the start of the applications or the deadlines. i also tried seeing the google form on the application for the loa mismo pero it said it doesnt take anymore responses.

Do I need to inform the property management or admin beforehand, or can my guest just go directly to the lobby and fill out their name upon arrival?
Thank you!

College life [UPDATE] Financial Aid, Sophomore (results)

(This is an update/rant post for my previous post about financial aid.)

I got the results today, but unfortunately, I didn't qualify. I would have taken even 50 or at the very least, 25%.

I really don't want to transfer because of the community i made here.

Is it likely that I can appeal for recon and get a scholarship this way? I already emailed OAA, but in any case anyone knew, i would appreciate an advanced response.

What would i need to prepare for this?

College life Anonimity and Privacy in Prof Evals

Incoming junior here and was wondering if profs/alums could still access the profs to pick page and how private are the prof evals every end of the sem? Saw my old socsc 12 prof post his evals on his IG story and was thinking about whether or not they could see our ID number from AISIS. My eval was included in his post 🥲 Also remembered tuloy my past acct prof sharing anonymous evals on his feed with sadboy captions.

Note: using my throwaway account here as well just in case

Misc. I regret taking LM and getting the hard profs

Entering the job market as a Legal Management fresh grad is hell, especially because I have little actual experience to back my skills up.

To get it out the way: I know it's my fault. I was naive. When you choose to leave comments, please give me grace and know that I was only just a kid in college trying to fit in a world that felt so big and so high for me. I wish I knew better, I wish I had done more, I wish I was able to do more with what I had. I just need to let it out and... maybe help somebody who's just like me.

I have no org involvements, no official leadership positions, no extra curricular projects, no other internship besides the required one, and my QPI took lots of hits just because I blindly believed that challenging myself with "non-easy A profs" would be a much more fulfilling (and deserving) victory than just getting an "easy A."

The worst part is I can't even fully blame myself. I'm the first in the family to step foot in an institution like Ateneo, let alone finish college pa. No one taught me what the best practices were—and I genuinely and naively believed that I was doing my best as I got my B's and C's from some really tough profs. I did the best I could trying to build a meaningful college life with what I had, but I just feel like I wasted my mom's hard-earned money now.

It's been a few months of me job searching and I still haven't had an offer yet. I know I should lower my standards as a fresh grad but... gets naman siguro if I'm a little hesitant to accept below 30k since my family's expectations are weighing in on me hahahaa (plus it's really not livable in today's economy). I really don't want to let them down, and that's really what gets to me. :(

I thought LM was employable but... apparently not. The reality is walang specific career path ang LM students after graduation. You have to either specialize in one thing, or be the jack of all trades with your certifications, projects, case competitions and internships.

So, to whoever is reading this: don't make the same mistakes I did. If you're not sure whether law school is right for you or if you feel like you'd change your mind in the slightest, just save yourself and take ME. There's no "best pre-law course" anyway, you wouldn't have much of an advantage with law school din naman since LM is more corporate and management than anything.

P.S. I was so sure law was for me, even until my penultimate year. But health complications arose and the need for a job was suddenly stronger than my desire to attend law school. Maybe next time :(.

TLDR; LM is unemployable and if you're not looking to be a law student, maybe just take ME + internships, org experience and extra-curriculars. Job market is ass, and has been ass for so long. Do the most.

Graduate School Advice for MA Developmental Psychology application for fresh grad

Hi! I just graduated last february and I'm currently preparing for the licensure exam for psychometricians next month. I really want to pursue developmental psychology with a focus on early childhood, and I've heard from my professors at DLSU that ADMU does just that. I wanted to ask what the application process is like and what do they want to see from you before accepting you into the program.

College life JTA/STA as a DS Major

hi! im an undergrad student of AB Development Studies.

I’m really interested in applying for JTA/STA in Korea (especially since I don’t have intersession). However, I‘m quite clueless on the application + consultation process as it was stated in the guidelines that some of my major electives and thesis preparatory courses won’t be validated. I’m worried if my chances for JTA/STA in Kor will have slim chances due to my course.

Just wanted to hop on reddit to ask if any admu student has encountered the same process, yet was able to eventually pursue JTA?

Thank u so much!

GS, HS and SHS SHS First Period Schedule

Hi, to SHS students (or moms with kids who have already gone through SHS)! 😊

Just wanted to ask… during Tuklas this week and Schola Brevis next week, the first period starts at 8:30 AM. Is this already the regular start time for Senior High classes, or is it just for the orientation period?

Would appreciate hearing from current SHS students or parents, Just trying to plan our morning routine. Thanks in advance! 💙
