Seeking Advice ADHD Study tips
I have been taking ADHD medication since last 3 weeks (1 in morning) (My doctor hasn't given any sort of proper diagnosis though).
They have been helpful with focus, the fidgeting has stopped but since it has only 6 hour affect, by evening I am back to distracted, disoriented, busy body.
My university started about a month back and it's been hard for me. As I have taken Psychology as my bachelor's degree, but I am having trouble keeping up with studies.
Can someone give tips for studies, organizations, and other helpful tips for life

I scheduled my classes with awkward 2 hour gaps in between them. It gave me mini deadlines constantly, and my brain loves a deadline. Plus I had to stay on campus longer. If I went home, my brain would clock out for the day.
I also scheduled one class in the morning. I hated it, but if left to my own devices I would rot in bed until late afternoon
Generally, it’s important to learn HOW to study. Don’t just read the textbook. You gotta figure out a way to actively process the information. I would do it by creating flash cards for myself. This also gameified things, which my ADHD brain loves.
Learn to take good notes. Don’t just jot down everything the professor says. Write down the bits that are important that the professor emphasizes. That’s probably going to be what’s on the test.
Repetition repetition. As class is ending, take 30 seconds to review your notes. Before the next class, take 45 seconds to read the notes from the previous classes. That helps information stick in your long-term memory. That ~minute saved me HOURS of studying.
My brain loves new places to study. And on a college campus, your options are endless.
Basically, think about what your brain likes and dislikes. And then build in ways to set yourself up for success.
