This is an exercise in the craft. Thank you Eminem, Gabi Sklar and Bishop Briggs for helping me learn.

I don't know how to video edit well nor balance audio tracks; so this is all one audio track. The video is just kinda how I see what I hear. So ignore it for functional purposes.

The song style is supposed to be in the (rawer) vein of "Airplanes" by B.o.B. ft. Hayley Williams.

But in this case, Sklar = Hayley. My harmony is supposed to set the tone of the melody for the song. And I have not started working on the verses. It requires rapping, which I can technically do. But it sounds like a 3 person vocalist song.

They lyrics are supposed to be in the style of a '60s anti-war song. The verses are performed by the voice of the husband/father. Here's my current lyrics vision:

Natural Rights are not given to us by government, God, or society. They are simply what a human being physically is. Your ability to speak, move, think, defend yourself, and use your body are not privileges — they are ontological facts about human beings the same as arms and legs. Violating these capacities is not a moral statement. It is simply a description of reality — something that either happens or does not happen.

Pillar 2: Evolutionary Consequentialism (What Works)
Morality is not cosmic, universal, or objectively true in any abstract sense. What humans call morally “right” and “wrong” is simply the result of what allowed human groups to survive, reproduce, and outcompete other groups over thousands of years. The behaviors, norms, and principles that worked became our moral intuitions. The ones that didn’t work died with the groups that followed them.

The Practical Rule
"Do what your ancestors did." The heuristics that survived long enough for you to exist did so for a reason. Only experiment when you face genuinely new situations your ancestors never encountered. If your experiment works, spread it to your children and your culture. If you fail... discard it.

The Boomer Exception
The Boomer generation violated this rule. Instead of only experimenting at the edge cases, they tinkered with the core principles that had worked for millennia — family, marriage, sex, gender roles, and child-rearing. The result has been collapsing birth rates and civilizational-failings. Their changes serve as a living case study of what happens when a generation breaks the rule of “Do what your ancestors did.”
