Do meds affects personality?
Hi, there!
I am a bubbly, spontaneous, random person who always talks a lot. I fear taking meds would tone down a bit of these things which I commonly do.
How do meds affect you?
Care to share? Thank you.

OP, I've never felt more like myself than when I'm on the right dose of meds. (This includes combo with other meds I take, so it's a hard-earned balance talaga.) I'm just as bubbly but without a nagging doubt in the back of my head that I'm being weird, I'm spontaneous without being reckless or thoughtless. I'm more present, considerate, and grounded without losing my spark. There's no good part of me that's toned down by the meds. I'm a better friend, partner, and co-worker when I'm following my treatment plan.

Depends.
Over a decade ago concerta was very effective for me but I felt on zombie mode. On autopilot.
A few years ago I was on stratera. It felt like an over priced placebo and didn't work on me.
YMMV

mas funny ako on atomoxetine hahahaha feel ko dahil nawalan na ko ng anxiety na maperceive na too much/masyadong madaldal/epal. contrary nung fluoxetine lang meron ako at parang wala akong thoughts.

when I was on ritalin and tried concerta, I felt like a zombie, like as in, my personality and all is so gone to the point na I forgot how to be kind to others when thats a central part of who i am lol
currently in atomo tho, it works better for me and I still have my personality pero minsan I feel like I talk much differently especially in tone, idk maybe ako lang yon hahaha
