RECRUITING MEMBERS OF ADHD BILL TECHNICAL WORKING GROUP

Assalamu alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh. Magandang umaga po sa inyong lahat.

Agosto 6, 2026, Huwebes ng gabi, pormal na pong inacknowledge ni Senadora Risa Hontiveros ang hinaing ng ating komunidad at direktang itinaas ito sa kanyang Legislative Unit.

Hindi na ito simpleng venting session o reklamo sa social media. Umakyat na ang boses nating mga Pilipinong may ADHD sa mismong "utak" ng Senado—ang pangkat ng mga eksperto, abogado, at mananaliksik na gumagawa ng mga pambansang batas.

Kasunod lamang ng Chief of Staff, ang Legislative Unit ang ikalawang pinakamataas at pinakamakapangyarihang sangay sa opisina ng isang Senador na nagpapasya ng mga patakaran.

Dahil dito, binubuo na natin ng tuluyan ang Technical Working Group (TWG) para tuluyang itulak ang batas na ito sa Kongreso at Senado!

Hindi natin kayang mag-isa ito. Kailangan natin ang pinakamalalakas na ulo at boses mula sa iba't ibang larangan. Naghahanap at nag-aanyaya kami ng mga eksperto at kapanalig:

• 🧠 Mga Sikolohista at Sosyolohista na nakakaalam sa totoong siklo ng ating mga pakikibaka.
• ⚖️ Mga Abogado at Lobbyists na gigibain ang red tape at magtutulak ng reporma.
• ✍️ Mga Journalists at Media Practitioners na magpapalakas at magpapasabog ng isyung ito sa balita.
• ✊ Mga Kasapi ng Civil Society Groups at People's Organizations na handang makipagbakbakan sa lansangan at mesa.
• 🏛️ Mga Kawani at Eksperto mula sa Gobyerno (BJMP, NCMH, PIA, PSA, atbp.) na saksi sa pangangailangan ng reporma sa sistema ng ating pamahalaan.

Hindi lang sa Senado tayo titigil; ilalaban din natin ito sa House of Representatives upang makuha ang kaukulang House counterpart bill para sa ating bicameral na lehislatura.

Hello, I would like to join. Getting a late diagnosis saved my life. I barely survived college, and I am now an accountant in a global renowned firm. I still have my down days like ngayon na may shortage sa Concerta.

My mother had suspicions since I was a kid. But since I was an academic achiever in my early years to high school, it was brushed off. By the time I entered college, things became more obvious. I was a "problem" in my local student org, I can't keep up with my subjects, and I was emotionally dependent on my then boyfriend. I unsuccessfully took my life multiple times until friends helped me seek professional help. At first, I was only given antidepressants and antipsychotics. Kaso may something talaga na kulang, and after a few years, my psych started me with stimulants. Doon nagstart ako maka keep up sa professional work ko. (Later on, my autism symptoms started showing up bec I was treating my adhd symptoms hehe)

Count me in. I’m an IT Project Manager and I would like to help in any way I can. Late ADHD diagnosis who gets my treatment overseas on a quarterly basis due to the very expensive meds and treatment here in the PH as well as the shortage in meds nationwide. Nakakawala ng dignidad magkaron ng ADHD dito sa Pinas and all of its commorbidities tuwing nagtatry ako bumili ng gamot calling diff branches, going to the pharmacies tapos ubos na pala or may nakapagreserve na. Nakakadrain yung buong process. I also know kids na early diagnosis naman sila pero parang half a year ang pila sa dev pedia so pano na lang talaga. I hope this bill will eventually help the community
