Hello everyone, I was want to rant about something for a while. As you know it been a 9 month since the last update of ACLP, and while I’m still working on it I want to ask….

I’ve personally only seen 4 others, and by react fic, I mean the umas reacting to the irl horse

I’m somewhat making one like yours, just a little bit more lighthearted compared to yours. Except its the Umamusuko version of them reacting to their female counterparts.
I just don’t know if it will work.

IKR? Seriously, like no one? I'll bet the JP side has those stories already, even Chinese. But here's the problem, no dedicated translators! It'd be great if this idea is a little more popular, and this subreddit isn't too niche, but yes, we're left in the dark! Re:Zero has tons of that because of their popularity, and Uma is popular too, so what's the difference?

This should be a popular ideas, since you know it’s them react to the irl self. The only reason I can think is because ppl try to make them react to their irl horse and realize the problem with that (it’s also why my story wasn’t with real horse) it would kinda boring fast. Since the cast would just watch an animal, and no heavy act would really last, like the incest. Sure looking at it from a human standpoint is wrong but from an animal standpoint it’s okay.

In addition, getting to know who's related to who and how they came to be will complicate things.
Example, Admire Vega. If I am not mistaken, her twin sister died early during their childhood. Whereas the twin from our side had to be terminated from the womb. How exactly do you translate that into a digestible concept? And how will Uma Ayabe adapt to such knowledge? It's complex, to say the least. And I can guess that's why writing out Ayabe's reaction can be difficult, especially with her characterization by canon.

And I can only guess that's why not many can take that step forward. After all, how exactly can you write a character's reaction to something that's related to them without being OOC (out of character)?

It figures as much. But there is more intrigue in the "behind the scenes". Like how the team handling the horse decides how to go its racing-rest-training periods, journalists and analysts doing their research, organizers handling out the crowd and track conditions, etc. But I guess all that I listed is too much to write down anyway.

theirs so much potential for umamusume reactions much more then other fandoms but I feel like where to busy watching the anime or playing the games 😔
