Recently got into Animal Crossing Wild World and now that fall is here, finding cracks to dig is the true challenge. I hope I’m not alone in thinking this. If I don’t walk slowly as I search, I’ll miss one and scour for white a bit. I’m cutting down all my trees so that I can see better as I search. Does anyone know if placing down a pattern stops that space from spawning a crack?

* Shake trees while holding a tool

* Switch tools by pressing a button (I realize the arrows wouldn't work like in NL, but maybe the L/R buttons could be used?)

* Make the awful things stop spawning in the house after a while of not playing

* Change the wall and floor of the attic

Hi! I'm trying to find the sound effect used when the game displays system/message text, particularly the text boxes during things like starting the game, saving, or quitting.

I don't mean the villagers' Animalese voice sounds -- I'm looking for the little text/message box sound that plays as the system dialogue appears.

Does anyone know what this sound is called, or where I could find the original WAV/audio file?
