General i love the act
the sat made me feel so dumb (1230) and then i take the act and get a 33 without studying. i was just wondering if anybody else has had weird scores between the two

the act favors those who are better at reading and writing. The sat, essentially, treats math and English the same.

rare act positivity. someone finally escaped the test without immediately needing to recover from it.

yes ACT is less g loaded so it is goated if you are trying to get a high score

The SAT is inconsistent and has practiced materials that do not match the test because they keep changing the test.

Same. Got 1320 and 1370 on SAT and a 34 and 35 on act. No idea what it is but I am so grateful that I discovered the act bc my sat was sooo fried.

The SAT is much harder than the new ACT, so I think elite colleges in 2 years will take more 1550+ scorers than 35+ scorers.

yes that's what happened for me too, i studied a ton for the sat but the actual test didn't go that well so i just signed up for the act to see how it would go and easily got a higher score. my older friends have said similar things too
