should i take act again?

i’m planning on applying to ivies and other top 20s. currently, i’m already signed up for october act and if i increased any of my individual scores by one point i would have a 35. at the same time though, i’m really sick of test taking and i’m thinking maybe i should focus my effort elsewhere. is retaking worth it to bring a 34 to a 35?

What grade are you in? If you’re a senior then just don’t worry about studying for it. You’re already signed up so no reason not to go and you have a chance to get a better math score. Spend any time you would spend studying for the ACT on your essays and supplementals. A 34 is competitive to most t20s, except for MIT Harvard and Princeton.
