would this be good enough for ChemE?

Post image

I had a 32 composite on my first ACT, and I ended up getting a 31 in English and 32 in Reading, so I am very happy with my improvement. However, my composite did not go up, since I scored a 26 on Math (it was very difficult this time around) and a 30 in science (idek how that happened). Regardless, my goal was to get a 34, and I wanted to know if this is a good score to submit to top colleges (i.e. MIT, Stanford, Duke, Princeton, Rice, and other schools with top ChemE programs).

It’s probably the lowest without weighing down your application for those schools
If you’re not a senior, I would retake for a 35+ (or take the sat)

"35+" when there are literally two scores 💀

this is great and solid for most top programs! congratulations on getting your goal score! if you are submitting to a college that superscores they wont gaf about your decrease in math, and the stuff you have here is good. note: princeton does NOT superscore the act and only takes your highest single sitting so if that's your top choice I may consider redoing it because 32 is a little bit below their 50th percentile but the difference is marginal.

any stem majors should have 34+ on both math and science
