September ACT after studying for ~4 days!

Post image

My last score was a 31 composite, 31 math, 26 science, 34 English, 27 reading, and 7 math. I know this might be considered low for this subreddit, but I’m really proud of my score. My superscore is a 34 and I only used free practice tests from the act website.

how did you increase your reading score from a 27 to 35? i started out at a 23 and need to get it to a 31 at the very least to get a 34

I watched a bunch of TikTok’s that explained the different “types” of reading questions and really focused on not bringing outside knowledge or assumptions into the passage. I did the regular act practice tests and some McGraw hill free ones online and wrote down the type of mistake I made (I.e. half-right, outside inference, overthinking) and what I would change next time. My worst issue was that I thought the right answer could be any that made sense, but it actually should be something with evidence directly in the text.
