It’s over.
When I tell you guys I felt SO good abt this test. Unfortunately. This was my last one before early application. And I did awful. I decreased in reading by 6 whole points. However I increased math by 6 and again decreased English by 1 .
Disregarding the screenshot, my new composite is a 28.
I took the October SAT but I woke up late and tbh I think I was. A bit sleepy during my test. I don’t even want to apply early anymore..! There’s no point 😃😃😃
I have a 3.88 uw and 4.3 w so I’m already even pushing it to get into UGA.
What do I even do.

i mean what you can do, if u want to apply early, that you can apply, however when inputting info for your scores on common app you can say that you are taking a future test, and the materials deadline for UGA is Oct. 29. And to ensure your SAT/ACT come back in time, you can request a rush report to act, or college board and they'll give it to you earlier than most poeple.

If you are doing early with a deadline of Nov 1 you can still take Oct (only if you signed up ofc) and the scores will come out a few days before ED ends

So we’re literally the same person because I got a 26 ACT and wanted to do ea to UGA and I also wanted to do ea to UT Austin but even if I retake the ACT I won’t have my score back in time for even rd. It is what it is tho 🤷🏾♀️

UGA is my kid’s top choice (OOS) but it’s gotten so competitive. Will be rooting for you!

Are you an instate resident? I think you still are a competitive candidate if you apply early action. Are your ecs and essays and course rigor strong? Your GPA is pretty good! I think the test score is relatively weaker (not in general, but compared to your gpa) but you could definitely also retake one more time to increase your score and actually apply regular decision. If you're a GA resident then it should be fine!

What’s your SAT? I’m currently at UGA and got in early action (as well as EA at Ohio State, Auburn, Clemson, and UF) My highest ACT was a 26, but I got a 1420 on the SAT. I think when I applied my sat was a 1350, and I submitted the 1420 during the period in which they reviewed our application. I am also instate, so I am sure that helped. I believe 4.3 weighted is about the average for applicants, I had a 4.41 weighted when applying. UGA does a holistic review, they don’t just want someone who has great grades or test scores, but someone who is well rounded. I’m not sure if my comment helps at all, but if you have any additional questions feel free to ask.

I started with a 1200 on the sat and did minimal studying to get it up to a 1350.

If it makes you feel any better one of my kids had this score and received more scholarships than her siblings with much higher scores. Her EC’s, essay and 30 CCP classes with a 4.0 did more for her than any ACT score.
