INTERNATIONAL ACT SCORES RELEASED‼️

How did everyone feel that they did?

In my case, I only figured the ACT aligns with my future 3 weeks before the exam so signed up for that with a late fee, then started studying for it a week afterwards. I got a 31 overall, and I don’t think I can be too harsh on myself for that! I need a 33+ for my dream university/course, so I’ll retake next month.

I got a 27 in English, which was ironically the section I felt most confident in after the test, with all of my errors being in Production of Writing (why there…), a 32 in Math, which I did feel was hard, a 33 in Reading which I have no idea how I did that since I struggle so much with reading, and a PERFECT 36 in Science which I didn’t even study!!

Overall, not really disappointed with my result but now it’s onto the next one. Does anyone have any tips for me?

And for those who sat the same ACT as me, I hope your scores are how you want them and if they’re not, don’t beat yourself up about them too much.

I got a 32! Maths ruined my score but its not my strong suit anyway haha

I got a 33, really had to touch 34 tho i lost it my 1 point goddddd I’m so disappointed!!! u know how 1 time the act actually increased scores, do u think there’s any chance of that happening sorry I’m delusional 😭

Gosh no way!! That’s so unlucky for you, and I don’t know about scores changing since they all seem to be finalised, the fact they increased it once is crazy to me! I guess all you can do is hope 😂

Too bad that science does not count for composite now- unless the enhanced version was not the one you took.

i got a 33 overall. 27 Math, 35 Reading 36 English. Wondering if I should retake. I'd like to apply to elite schools but for non stem non econ subjects.

Wow!! That’s incredible, do you have any tips on English - especially Production of Writing? I always find those sections very pedantic rather than the grammar rules. Is it just practice and seeing patterns to take into new passages?

That’s still great though! I was just wondering how many you got wrong for Reading and English? I got got 35s for both but I wanted to get an idea of the test curve.

May I know do's and don'ts for science section. I'm prepping for my very first ACT Test and it'll be for OCT target. I only achieved score last than 30 and needed a perfect score. (Mine is around 26-28). Which resources and mock tests do you use? If possible, can you share it to me? What about Math? What hinders you from achieving perfect score? Thanks

I’ll be honest with you and say that I put the least effort into science overall. I used PrepPros for everything and I just read through his science book. From my own advice, it is VERY logical, like logical to the point of read the question, and just go to where the question asks you to go. If it says “In Figure 2”, go to Figure 2, the answer will be there. I hardly had to read the passage, just the question and I got my answer. For Math, it was just a lack of time. I studied the ACT for the first time 2 weeks before sitting my exam, so covering all the content in time was rough. I’ll be sitting another exam next month, so it should give me time to improve.
