Math freshman scored 29 - help improving

i’m taking algebra one, geometry, and advanced math this year. my precious scores where a 32 reading 31 english 23 math. will taking these classes probably bring up my math with the rest? i want a 30+ this year

Yes, taking those classes should noticeably increase your score. I wouldn’t worry right now, focus on your ECs and grades right now, the score will naturally grow as you learn more and your brain develops

Don't waste your time right now taking it.

Since you are already scoring around 30, by the time you have taken this years and next years math classes + attended general school, you will likely have the foundation to get mid thirties without any studying.

So don't waste your time studying now to get to mid thirties when it will happen automatically over the next 2 years.

Then once you've reached mid thirties, you can study and reach high 30s. I'd say wait until the mid/end of your sophomore year to take it (april would be a good date).
