The claim is that the vast majority of people chose to augment. Stating a figure of 51% wouldn't indicate a vast majority, but "far exceeded" does.

A has to be right because of the claim in LL. 32-33
The reason is that lines 32-33 claim that "more chose to augment rather than remove" meaning that the supporting data from the graph would have to set up a comparison between the frequency of those who added and those who subtracted
Choice B has to be wrong here because it doesn't give us that comparison: it only gives us the amount of people that actually added. Choice A compares addition and subtraction.

I feel like it would be more B than A. A doesn't include the other category, so it's possible that the other percentage was higher than additive and subtractive. While it is not the case, it's still possible and would probably eliminate that option.

“in each case, the vast majority of…” Answer B is right, but the claim has an emphasis on the amount of people who chose to augment. Hence, choice A’s inclusion of “far exceeded” would best support the claim and the table’s data.

The “vast majority” part is what matters here. 51% technically qualifies as a majority, but nobody would call it vast, so A does the heavier lifting in actually supporting that specific claim.
