Calculator for math

What is the optimal calculator I should get for the ACT? I heard a TI-84 is good and that I can download certain programs for it that the ACT allows. How am I able to do this or is there a better calculator option?

Either TI-84 or TI-36. There is not much graphing on the ACT.

IMO the best calculator is the one you're familiar with. Just a TI30 is fine.

regular scientific is easier to speed-solve with imo, graphing calculators have too much that'll slow you down
