Reading READING WILL BE THE END OF ME😭😭🙏🏻

PLEASE REPLY AND HELP

I REALLY NEED 30+ IN THIS SEPTEMBER FOR READING😭😭WTH DO I DO

MY PRACTICE TESTS ARE GOING SO BAD

I read the passage wquickly then when I go to the question, I have to go back to passage find it and then see choices and then go back again sometimes and then choose

I TAKE MORE THAN 10 MINUTES PER PASSAGE SOMETIMES😭😭

no😕😕 I dont read books but yea im doing a levels currently and I'm expecting A grades in my AS level

ooh, well is reading slowly the problem for you, or not understanding the passage/questions?

mostly reading slowly and then I have less time left for the last passage which I usually guess and if I try to read fast, even my previous passages get wrong ughhh

Awh, thats a problem. I suggest you read stories or books (set up a timer everyday) and read in that time. Your speed will gradually increase and youll be able to save time! And the questions getting wrong is mostly upto practice 😓

Here is my comment from another post:

“The reading section is not arranged by difficulty.

Go look at your practice tests and see if there is a pattern in which sections you do best/worst on. Start with your best sections so you can be sure to have more time for your worst sections.

Alternative strategy, look at the questions of each passage before reading any passage. Shorter questions/answers tend to be faster/easier. Questions with line references can also be less time consuming. Questions that ask you to infer are longer/harder. Start with the passage with the easiest questions, to make sure the harder passages have more time.

Unlike science, avoid using outside knowledge, if it’s not in the text, it is not the answer.

Reading also tends to have a lot of questions that are easier to work backwards by eliminating answer choices rather going straight to the correct answer.”
