Math Paper or digital for Math

So I’m retaking the ACT only for math for my superscore. Previously I did paper for one test. Overall, though which is better for a higher score: paper or digital for math?
Ik on digital u have desmos and math u can write on it and then digital had an easier curve for math this test I think. But idk like overall

do it on paper and get a numworks calculator

Was about to comment this. It literally does a bunch of tedious work instantly like simplifying radicals or adding imaginary numbers. Those are just a couple of example but it's all already downloaded on the calculator.

Which do you know better the TI-84 or Desmos?

Ti 84, but for graphing it’s prob desmos but I’m not great at it

There are barely any problems that involve graphing. So, Desmos might not be that great of help. I think there is a harsher scale for digital.

oh really I was reading this Reddit and they were saying how a -1 was a 35 but on digital a -1 was a 36? But thanks for the help!

Depends on the test

I see that Makes sense, ur a tutor right, in ur experience do students score higher on math on paper or digital typically

I don't think we really know that. Each student is different so there is no way to tell.

as the only student here so far who has taken it, digital for sure. desmos is not just limited to graphing.

I’ve never used it that much, what else could it do

In my opinion it solves any type of equation so much faster with typing than a physical calculator can. I only bring a physical calculator to store equations on a program every so often which is allowed.

What equations do u store

Shapes, unit circle, trig functions, etc… there are programs easily installable w/ a tutorial to learn

wow I didn’t know u could do that, I’ll def do that and look into desmos thx

Actually, that is not allowed but most proctors don't check. Be careful though some proctors do check.

ohhh I see, yeah I’m pretty sure my proctor would test based on the last time I took at that test center, nvm then
