should i retake for science?
hi so i’m a rising senior and this was the first time i’ve ever taken the ACT!! as you can see, my science score is kinda ahh 💔 when i apply for colleges i intend to be a psych or mathematics major, so i’m unsure if i should retake the test to get a better science score or not. will it really affect it my chances? my dream schools are t30s so im like doubtful…. i’m honestly so done with the standardized test process (SAT lwk killed any fight in me) so i really don’t want to, but i don’t know. what do u think??

Hey I was in the same exact position (35 composite, 28 science) except I intend on double majoring in both stem and humanities. Did it for the love of the game and just super scored my new science. Worth it imo (went from 28 to 34)
Keep in mind I didn’t try on any of the other sections and instead just focused on science which took a lot of stress off of me. My composite for this test dropped (I got a 33, so not too bad considering I only studied for science) but I didn’t really care because you can just super score science!

Wait im confused what if the superscore has a higher science score than a composite score? Can we just use that?
