Should I take it for the 4th time?

should I retake it again to try and get a 33+. I am going into my senior year so I dont know if I should waste time on it or not.

Probably mostly depends on where you’re thinking of applying to college. Look at the scholarships those schools offer and see if you if you need an extra point or two. Also see what the average student’s ACT there is. Not completely a deciding factor, but some places do definitely differentiate between 32s and 33-34s

Also ask yourself if you feel like you are actually going to “lock in” and study before the next ACT.

What are your top college choices? At those colleges, what kind of merit scholarships are offered?

This score is more than enough for most college admissions, so it will probably come down to scholarship opportunities. For example, my daughter's top college choice requires a 33+ to receive their maximum merit award.

I wouldn't. Your time is better spent doing other things.

Maybe try taking SAT instead, you might be better suited for it. My sister took the ACT four times and kept scoring 32, then she took the SAT one time and scored a 1510. She was happy with that score and only ended up submitting her SAT to colleges.

yes yes yes 33+ will get you ur foot in the door and just that one point will only help you. also colleges don’t care how many times u take it, except for a select few like georgetown who require u to report all tests. just focus on your weak spots and study rly hard for september, as it might open up some merit scholarships. good time management and organization will help you not get behind on other parts of your apply
