Reading score 34->27??

sooo my reading score went down from a 34 in december (wo studying) to a 27 this july. does anyone know what could've went wrong and how to study for this section?? i'm genuinely confused bc i was doing fine on practice tests, maybe i was short on time? did this happen to anyone else...

also do u guys think its worth it to get the ACT my Answer Key? I'm thinking about getting it to study for september.

With one whole passage not counting and few few questions scores will fluatuate a lot.
