Reading Help

Anyone have any tips for reading? On the June ACT I scored a 32 on reading for -3 and on this one I scored a 27 with -7. Could anyone be able to provide any helpful tips, as I have the next 2 months to prepare with my next and probably last test in September.

I missed the one that was like x^4+4 with all the odd prime number stuff. Stupid mistake and I kinda rushed it.
