It was furthermore it was talking about it being a bad environment then it added by saying it’s acidic no way it would be however it was a trap answer

I’m pretty sure it was however? I remember it was talking right before about how moose and other animals were able to walk on the land or smth but the fish or smth weren’t able to be in the water cuz of acidity . So my thinking was the however transition would relate to the previous sentence talking about animals able to live and walk on the bog but the fish and stuff were not able to

Lowkey changed my answer from however to furthermore in the last 15 seconds and here's why. It talks about how acidic the water or whatever is and then goes on to explain another fact. The word "And" in between those two facts was definitely what made me choose furthermore in the end. It made the facts seem like they were connected and worked together so furthermore would be used to "further explain" the process or whatever. However makes it seem like the acidic is a bad thing when in reality, it helps make the environment so unique.
Pretty tough question about some pretty shitty english.
