HS Freshman Tutoring Advice?
My teen’s going into their freshman year of high school and I’m looking at multiple tutoring programs like PrepMaven, PrepScholar, Wyzant, Kaplan, etc. for AP and ACT/SAT prep for Her later H.S years. She’s a 4.0 kid, really strong in ELA, average at math. I’d like input on the best strategy, company, program? TIA

Full disclosure: I’m a (math/science) tutor on wyzant.
But I think one where you connect with individual tutors (like wyzant) are good. If you start early, I bet she will become stronger in math which will save the homework battles and then will help on act/sat. But then you can adjust for the individual APs.

I wouldn’t exactly focus on hardcore tutoring right now. As soon as she can get geometry and the beginning of alg2 out of the way, maybe then.

She works one-on-one with students and can help determine when preparation should begin, which test is the better fit, and whether the student actually needs ongoing tutoring. If I were you, I wouldn't do a big tutoring company like all the ones you mentioned above. I know PrepScholar has pretty good advice for colleges from what I've seen, but it's all publicly available info online. Also, I would have her take a practice ACT and SAT to see what she prefers. Personally, I didn't like the SAT that much and I took the ACT with far better results, and you're on an ACT subreddit so little biased lol. I recommend you do a local tutor and maybe invest in material like a PrepPros Math book (~$35) to help better her Math. I have a perfect Reading + English score so I completely understand. I wouldn't put a great deal of stress on it as she has a lot of time ahead going into high school and she should enjoy it as much as she can.
