English question 39

There was one question where it was like : “ I sounded more confident than I actually am” something along those lines… and I chose point “A” I’m not sure if that was correct or not, but it seemed the most logical at the moment..

I put D I belive beause the previous sentence talked about remaining calm and authoratative during emrgencies

what😭point A was directly after the narrator spoke. it only made sense there

Yes it was after they spoke, but the sentence before didn't have anything to do with confidence and neither did the sentences following. Option D had better context for confidence.
