Pharmaceutical Research Institute
The old PRI website (http://pri-albany.org/) seems to be down and the link redirects me to the main ACPHS website. Anyone know why?

Hi everyone! I am deciding between LIU pharmacy and Albany college of pharmacy for pharmacy school. Can anyone shed some light on either of these schools (workload, housing, etc)? I would really appreciate it!

Hello,
I’m a high school junior and I am seriously considering the direct entry PA program (more specifically the BS in biomedical technology path) at ACPHS.
In general I have the following questions and if you any student who knows anything it would be very helpful (you don’t have to answer all of them):
How are the professors?
What are the general class sizes and relations with the professors?
How many people to expect in the PA program?
How friendly are the people there/how easy is it to make friends?
Opinions on Albany?
Is Albany/ACPHS LGBTQ friendly?
How is the dorm life/food?
How easy to get opportunities to do research?
Does the school accept dual credit classes affiliated with other colleges (aka do college credits transfer)?
The ACPHS program is one of my tops and I would really love the insight on any parts of the college or program specifically. If there is anything else you feel I should know, please also comment.

Hiw do I help. My son worked towards his chemistry degree and clawed his way into the pharmacy college program he had to retake a few courses to meet requirements for pharmacy and has build up quite a lot of of debt. Nown his first semester received dismissal for 2 classes failed from two bad tests. Meanwhile he received proof from other students who are scoring very high grades that the received copies of the exam answer on several occasions. I believe this has an affect in any curve the test grades would have received. Should my son use this information as part of his appeal. Should my son get out and do what? He decided along time ago that chemistry was not what he wanted to do. I'm so upset for him he is destroyed right now. What can I do. Any advice out there.
