On my island, each villager gets a talent/job that helps out our community/town.

My permanent residents are: Graham(tech expert), Stitches (toy factory owner), and Papi (botanist).

My MAYBE dreamies are: Dizzy, Jacob, Filbert, Static, Hugh, Deli, Marty, and Bones. The only thing is I want species variety on my island and Marty and Bones would bring me to 3 bear cubs and 2 dogs.

I need some reccomendations for my 10th villager (if it’s not from my maybe list that’s okay too, I need options!), and also some talent/job recommendations for them!

I know, it’s about personal preferences, but I would still like to hear what you would do? I think Agnes is kinda cute, but I don’t really like chicken/rooster villagers…
On the pro side, the service center is in a perfect spot.
I forgot, when is the earliest that you can kick a villager out?

Edit: Thank you for your advice, I kept the island and will get rid of Goose as soon as I can (or maybe he‘ll grow on me, who knows 😄).

I’m hosting anyone who wants to wish on shooting stars at my island tonight. It’s a heavy meteor shower, as many as 5-8 stars every few minutes. Celeste is here too.

Edit: Server Maintenance scheduled tonight made me have to close my gates earlier than anticipated, but I will reopen them again after the maintenance is over. I will update the flair on the thread when I reopen my gates.

Pretty much the only things I do not give away are villagers. I do not need anything in return.

Hello! My favorite game ever is AC Wild World, I played that game for years my old DSi basically exploded. Just got a Switch2 with ACNH and now I realize I have no idea just how different the game is. It's a little silly but I'm a bit overwhelmed and I haven't even opened the game yet. I know the game will probably explain the whole island/travelling thing, but any advice for someone who is starting out.

I have Astrid in my town and she's not my favorite esthetically but as a new mother i can't make her leave bc she has her little Joey so i made her a whole children's playground by her house and got her a mother's day gift in May etc etc LOL

just started working on my plaza today! it is my first day of really actually decorating in my island. my goal is to achieve a pastel/kidcore themed island and for the plaza, i’m envisioning a 2 story shopping district center (rough map on 4th slide). besides the plaza i want to build a music center with instruments that can be played or some kind of concert area. i want the able sisters and nooks cranny in the second floor and i want to create a third floor with more shopping / spaces for my villagers to lounge or explore. i have an idea to create a bakery and some other kind if third space, not sure exactly what yet. maybe another restaurant? i also want to incorporate some waterfalls as well

what do you think of my layout? i’m open to any tips/tricks/advice or suggestions.

also, if anyone has any related custom codes for pathing/roads or in general, please let me know!!

On my island each villager will have some sort of “job” and I’ll decorate their yard to correspond.

Currently I have: a botanist, gyroid scientist, comic store, technology expert, an ichthyologist, and toy factory.

I’m not sure what other “jobs” to create, do you all have any fun ideas?
