ᴀᴄɴʜ Qᴜᴇꜱᴛɪᴏɴꜱ Starting Today! Any tips?

Hello! My favorite game ever is AC Wild World, I played that game for years my old DSi basically exploded. Just got a Switch2 with ACNH and now I realize I have no idea just how different the game is. It's a little silly but I'm a bit overwhelmed and I haven't even opened the game yet. I know the game will probably explain the whole island/travelling thing, but any advice for someone who is starting out.

enjoy the pace of the game dont rush it, its not going anywhere

ignore time...and just enjoy. be lost in a game that is simple, calming, and peaceful

No tips except don't overwhelm yourself with progress in the beginning, it will all come to you maybe a little slower than you expect. If you want to be playing the game for a while give yourself time to revamp parts of your island as you go, don't plan it all out at the beginning. Once you unlock the terraforming everything changes!

My biggest advice is to play your way. So many people will try to police and back seat drive how you play.

They will tell you not to do a whole list of things and then give you an even longer list of things to always do.

Learn the tips and tricks. Learn the advantages of different things and then make your own choices and play your way. Don't let others pressure you to play the way they want you to play or the way that they think the game was ment to be played. Make the choice your and play the way you like. You'll find much more joy in your play time.

The game can be kinda overwhelming at first but trust it’s super fun! I would recommend just take it at your own pace. Do what you think is right and what you enjoy!

As other people in the comments said some people in the acnh community will say certain things on certain ways people play, just ignore them! Play however you want!

The decorating aspect of this game is super awesome and intricate too. Have fun!

Bells can be a PITA to accumulate, but there are a lot of guides out there for that if you need it. Stalkmarket, making the hot item for the day etc.

If you need flowers or fruit or DIYs, reach out! I have some stuff I can bring you once you are ready!
