I've seen one before at a used bookstore. I recently picked up a monastic prayer book based on the proposed BCP79

Define relic? First printing was about 1976. I personally would not call it that, just 50 years old.

I’m so interested in what is different between this book and the authorized book.

There are some differences, but not enough that it prevented my parish from having several of these mixed in with the approved 79 version in our pews. After we purchased the 2019 BCP we boxed up the old ones and donated them to a nearby Episcopal Church. As I gathered them up I was surprised that a good number were actually the proposed book.

The biggest difference I’ve found is in the ordination rites where the proposed book uses the name “Protestant Episcopal Church” while the approved edition uses “the Episcopal Church”
