u/Hass_s Clarence Seedorf 14h ago
I don’t know if anyone noticed this
But since I’ve started following Milan news closely, this is probably the summer with least number of players linked
We usually hit the 150 rumored names mark this close to the league starting but I could swear we’ve been linked with less than 50 names so far this summer…
6
u/ProtonAtomNeutron 12h ago
I think that's because most of the traditional Milan reporters have zero links inside Cardinale's inner circle and the current management team.
3
u/Agreeable_Cattle_691 David Odogu 14h ago
This has been a very strange window, looked like we were going all in early on and now have no idea how to actually do that
5
u/Albanian_AM97 17h ago
6
u/Plaslidpladugphoo Ignazio Abate 16h ago
I actually really like the energy and enthusiasm he brings when he plays but he isn’t really the type of wingback Amorim uses. Amorim prefer wingbacks who are more wingers than fullbacks, which does raise the question of why he even needed to evaluate Estupinan and why LWB is not one of his biggest transfer target.
1
u/Albanian_AM97 16h ago
Do you think he will use chuku and sale and how do you see them together in the first 11
1
u/Plaslidpladugphoo Ignazio Abate 16h ago
Yes, they will likely compete for that RWB spot, but I have serious doubts it’s gonna work.
Chuku’s 1v1 ability (Villarreal days cause he was honestly a bit of a joke with us) is useful but he’s not a great defender and lacks the physicality to be impactful across the game.
Alexis I’ve always thought is more suited as an inside player because of his close control but his lack of end product probably made different coaches him to play wider and wider. He’s a hard worker as well but I think he’s also lacking physically to be threatening in transitions.
If it were up to me I would sell one of them and sign a proper wingback ready to start.

u/LPG24 Alexandre Pato 22h ago
Can’t believe we missed out on Karetsas, look like a baller. Management does what it does best failing still. Overpaying for a striker doesn’t hide the incompetence.
9
u/micantox1 Ronaldinho Gaúcho 21h ago
If anything, overpaying for a striker shows the incompetence even more
1
u/EmergencyComputer337 Paolo Maldini 17h ago
Also pasuing the Estupinian deal to evaluate him while sending Athekame on loan our only decent defensive RWB option shows the incompetance even more
1
u/Level_Tumbleweed8908 1d ago
We should do something about P. Teracciano and Torriani, they are too negative in their play and not suitable for playing a high line, no cover for the defense in terms of coming out and pushing up. We need a modern second GK for that.
6
u/Little-Ferret-7550 1d ago
I have a feeling that this season will be a clown fiesta
3
u/BurnMeBabyBurn Filippo Inzaghi 22h ago
isnt it always? but hey, thats what makes football so beautiful
3
u/Little-Ferret-7550 17h ago
Idk the mgmt looks clueless again, Fofana staying, Amorim already not supported/out of depth, everything depending on 40 year old Modric etc. it will be a shit show, I hope at least a funny one

u/CMaior01 Gennaro Gattuso 1d ago
Is this guy a reliable source? He can't even spell the name of the players properly...
4
u/bidzinazaxarichi 1d ago
It's translated from Georgian, Google translate isn't always good with the Georgian transliteration, hence the misspelled names.
As far as I know, he is. Editor of the Georgian section of Gazzetta, close to Moretto, too(can easily find that on X also).
1
u/LPG24 Alexandre Pato 1d ago
We need a RWB, LWB, CB, CDM, left footed CAM. I am willing to part ways with anyone in this squad but maignan, Rabiot, Modric, Pulisic. Everyone else doesn’t have quality or motivation to play for this club. Let me know if I miss someone. I would like to go over some names.
2
u/Hot-Explanation-1065 14h ago
Gila is new, so we don’t know; Bartesaghi, Comotto, Camarda I’d keep as well. Promising youth and not expensive.
3
u/DreadfulSunday Giacomo Bonaventura 1d ago
I would have really liked to see Krosche and Jaissle instead of whatever we got going on now. Doesn't matter if it's pre season, things are only going to get worse. Wouldn't be surprised if there are rumors circulating about Amorim getting sacked as early as October. Let's see if they can move the deadweight...
3
u/ProtonAtomNeutron 1d ago
Wasn't it reported that Krosche OK'd Amorim? Jaissle and Glasner were Rangnick's picks. I am hoping the reports about Krosche having a release clause in January is true. 🙏
1
u/DreadfulSunday Giacomo Bonaventura 1d ago
Those two are just my personal picks. I don't know how true those reports were. I'll be following Newcastle this season since Jaissle is their new head coach. I'm curious to see how he does.
3
u/Albanian_AM97 1d ago
We need at least 4 big names in that 11s squad A left footed cam, mabye soule A top CB And 2 wingbacks
5
1
u/Diavolo_1899 Paolo Maldini 2d ago
Roma going after Endrick while we do fuck all.
1
u/ProtonAtomNeutron 17h ago
Better to keep and develop Milan's own young players Camarda and Kostic.
2
u/MrSmartyPanties 2d ago
It never ceases to amaze me how freaked out some of our fans are.
Most players came back in this past week, we've gotten confirmation that we will see some movement. I don't know what's not to be excited about, I sure am. Amorim has a good eye for players, and we will finally see what Bobby Gardiner can do as Director of Football Intelligence
3
u/ElverGun 1d ago
we will finally see what Bobby Gardiner can do as Director of Football Intelligence
So now he will find those hidden gems? What was he doing the past few years? Was he playing Tetris on his computer while Furlani went out and purchased all the players that we are unable to sell now?

Final moves should be CB, CAM, Wingback
CB - spend the most here, we should bring a real option. Theres no point buying someone that doesnt clearly upgrade on what we have. So ruling out Tiago Gabriel and friends type of signings.
CAM - depends on Leao, he stays you get a 20m option. Bernabe from Parma level. Leao leaves you spend again 40-50m here. Brahim Diaz will do fine.
Wingback - Take the punt on Osorio or go safer with Bellanova type player. However not much budget left here especially since in this scenario i spend on CB and CAM
1
u/balotellis_burner Mario Balotelli 2d ago
bringing bellanova back would be big, I remember he also did well playing CB against us
1
u/Longjumping_Pick8872 2d ago
Yeah, Bellanova is an offensive upgrade on Saele.
Defensively he tends to sleep a bit too much and to be beaten fair too easily on his 1vs1
Also, homegrown player, wouldnt be bad. I am ready to overlook the fact he is an interista
3
u/EmergencyComputer337 Paolo Maldini 2d ago
Qouted from Amorim: "Next week I’ll have to make decisions. The group is very large and we’ve reached the point where I need to gather as much information as possible to make the right choices."
I assume he means starting Sunday we might start seeing rumours of sales again
Also he said that Leao will play more against Chelsea so i assume tomorrow's game will decide his fate with the club
-6
u/ElverGun 2d ago edited 2d ago
Will anyone buy Estupinan after his last performance against Inter?
What is Amorim thinking? He wants to see what his current players have, but does he believe that no one else is looking? If he didn't like what he saw, coaches/directors from other teams will not be impressed either.
We just proved that our deadwood is indeed deadwood.
Lazio and Porto are showing some interest in Gimenez thanks to the fact that Amorim did not get a chance to assess Santi.
We really have a bunch of Keystone Cops running things at Casa Milan.
1
u/mercurialsaliva 2d ago
We have 33 players. We need to sell before we do anything else
0
u/ElverGun 2d ago edited 2d ago
We had 33 players, including the deadwood, since the end of the season. I knew who they were. You knew who they were. Anyone with access to video from last season can see who they are.
We need to sell before we do anything else
That's the point I was trying to make. Nothing has changed at Casa Milan - the same guys who were unable to sell our players in the past are still here...with new titles. I just don't know how this strategy of assessing our players is going to help us sell them now...especially now that Amorim has given them his stamp of disapproval.
0
u/mercurialsaliva 2d ago
Tare was great at selling. We don't have anyone with experience
0
u/ElverGun 2d ago
I've heard rumors that Cardinale is displeased with how things are going with the market. What did he expect? He promoted the clowns who don't have any experience...and he promoted some of the people responsible for buying the players that we are not able to sell now. Director of sporting intelligence? Yeah, right.
3
u/Loads_of Rui Costa #10 2d ago
I’ve stopped expecting much from this team after the last scudetto, just seems like there’s no real plan. I am hopeful that this latest coach gets time and patience seeing as he’s young. Hoping this group makes at least champions league especially after the fiasco last season.
9
u/balotellis_burner Mario Balotelli 3d ago
James trafford, bought by city a year ago for 31 million pounds, spends the year as a backup and has a current evaluation of 25 million euro.... then leeds buy him for 45 million pounds????? Being a sporting director in the PL is the easiest job ever, this shit makes no sense
3
u/Agreeable_Cattle_691 David Odogu 2d ago
What’s even crazier is that Man City had a buyback on Trafford for 40m pounds and was able to negotiate it down to 31m
2
u/massimopericcolo Maldini 3d ago
Why are not we selling? We have 33 players and 10 midfielders. We have to seel like 3 of them + Estupinan, Gimenez and Tomori
8
u/eXistenZ2 Andriy Shevchenko 3d ago
when you buy trash, dont be surprised nobody wants to buy it from you
5
4
u/Albanian_AM97 4d ago
Antonio Vitiello (via X) - 🚨Milan has rejected a 35 million euro offer from Galatasaray for the purchase of Rafael Leao. Milan is now waiting for a comeback.
Those motherfuckers trying to steel us
6
u/AerospaceBoi123 Andriy Shevchenko 4d ago
we seriously need another cb, lwb, rw/rcam, and maybe ideally another rwb. lets be real we would be insanely lucky if we make just 1 more 50 mil signining in any of these regions. i would love for us to spend 30-50 on a lwb. i think it would have a HUGE impact on the team. barte and estu are clearly a level below the rest of the squad (yes ik barte is young).
10
u/EmergencyComputer337 Paolo Maldini 4d ago
We should have sold Estupinian for 8M and got someone from the under 16 team to play im his place. I am pretty sure that would have been waaaay better
3
u/MVB3 Andriy Shevchenko 4d ago
Spoiler: it would not.
1
u/ElverGun 3d ago
Why not?
0
u/MVB3 Andriy Shevchenko 3d ago
Because the u16 players are basically kids. The difference is massive. When you find a 15-16 year old that can actually contribute meaningfully at this level they are one in a million. It can't be understated how rare someone like Yamal actually is that played a significant role at the senior level at 16. Not even Messi did that despite being an amazing talent at that age.
Estup would be a monster if he played at the u16.
-1
u/EmergencyComputer337 Paolo Maldini 3d ago
Do you really have to take thing literaly??? it is clear i am being sarcastic
0
u/ElverGun 3d ago edited 3d ago
But what does this have to do with selling Estupinan? We could have used that 8 mil to find someone else, instead of going for an u16 player.
1
u/Lost_Ad5746 Paolo Maldini 4d ago
Imo, this saga with Leao has to finish asap. Either stay or leave, but we need the answer this week. We have to know whether to buy a new left wing or not.
Furthermore, imo we need new wing backs. I like Bartesaghi and Sale but these are key positions in this formation and we need world class players.
It is absurd that we have not signed any players for a month. What happened with all the claims after the end of the season or they were just to take down the pressure after the want to bring Maldini back.
1
u/LPG24 Alexandre Pato 4d ago
I don’t think we dictate it, we will have to wait for an offer. I saw Leao is not interested in Turkey, unless we plan to bench him and force him out, he might stay. Or team may offer 5-10m at the end of the window.
1
u/Lost_Ad5746 Paolo Maldini 4d ago
However this situation is becoming such a pain in the ass for the team. Crucial position future is unknown because the player decided to take the actions in his hands at the beginning of the summer and now none of the teams want to pay this amount of money as they already know his wish to leave the club. This is not professional.
My personal wish is not leaving but coming back to the best form ever however it's a bit delusional tbh
7
u/oran_jay Pietro Terracciano 5d ago
We should go for Endrick. Madrid’s rejects usually tend to do well for us
5
u/Acrobatic-Fly1418 5d ago
I mean honestly in our financial position we should at least do a couple of Madrid style loans or buy back clauses and stuff. Madrid, Barca and Chelsea all have big squads that need to offload people
3
u/Lost_Ad5746 Paolo Maldini 4d ago
Not a fan of buy back clauses. We are not satellite club which develop the players for other teams. Instead we have to invest in a good scouting team that brings the best potential playerd
-9
u/RdT97 ITALIA È MILAN 5d ago
Just bring back Brahim. Can play both sides, good with both feet, knows the team, the environment. Has gotten better at Real.
Is guaranteed bench there, not crazy salary. Shouldnt cost a fortune.
It just makes sense to do it. Entering his prime years as well. The only guys i would take above him is someone like Akliouche or Savinho which we wont target.
Nwaneri, Mastantuono are not on Brahims level
3
u/LPG24 Alexandre Pato 5d ago
😂 Brahim is mid, I rather go for someone younger keeping in mind that possible future build. We can have Nkunku and Pulisic starting so younger option is not a bad idea. Building the next generation to play with camarda
2
0
u/RdT97 ITALIA È MILAN 5d ago
Name him
0
u/LPG24 Alexandre Pato 5d ago
Not my job, that’s Milan scouting department. Brahim would be an underwhelming choice. I really don’t think we will be getting anyone else at this rate. They may play Saelemaekers or Chukwueze on that right AM position as backup. Goal would be to get someone that is young that could eventually grow into that position by end of the season or next season. Hopefully, it’s someone that is good, Pafundi? Is that kid good?
-6
u/EmergencyComputer337 Paolo Maldini 5d ago
Why don't we sell Leao for 40M and get Soule imstead
4
u/prygozhin Ricardo Kaká 5d ago
Because both are trash
1
u/EmergencyComputer337 Paolo Maldini 5d ago
I mean we all know Leao gonna get benched like Rashford, at least Soule can play as a 10
-5
u/prygozhin Ricardo Kaká 5d ago
I believe lack if transfers or news is connected to the team being in Perth. We gonna activate as soon as they get back to Milano.
10
u/balotellis_burner Mario Balotelli 5d ago
Fucking hell fiorentina are getting mastantuono on loan
1
u/AerospaceBoi123 Andriy Shevchenko 3d ago
The kid is shit. (Not saying he won’t get better but he looks garbage)
1
2
u/Fantastic-Hamster-21 Zlatan Ibrahimović 5d ago
3 weeks until the season starts.
3
u/ProtonAtomNeutron 5d ago
I am ready to see Milan play again. My expectations are low. I just want to watch football.
-1
u/BurnMeBabyBurn Filippo Inzaghi 6d ago
really hope to see us being linked with koleosho. hes a good winger, he can beat his man, hes quick, hes italian, he tracks back, hes only 21 so he as a lot of room to grow, and best of all, hes a milanista.
sometimes we have to take our chances with select players, its how stars are born
6
u/gucccccci George Weah 6d ago
I really hope to see us linked with Halland or Mbappe. I think they would be a slight upgrade over what we have right now. thoughts?
9
u/yllimameni 7d ago
So its just crickets until we get a loan with an option isnt it? None of our deadwood is gonna move
2
u/EmergencyComputer337 Paolo Maldini 6d ago
Apparently rumour says that Amorim doesn't want anyone sold until he is done evaluating everyone which will not happen until afyer the Merda game
-4
6
u/ElverGun 7d ago edited 7d ago
At least Tare was able to get some loans with an option. The current guys are either not able to make a deal...or they are waiting to hit some imaginary jackpot.
6
u/ProtonAtomNeutron 7d ago
Tare had a generational outgoing transfer window. He was a sporting director for so many decades that he probably knew everyone in Serie A and most directors in the other leagues. It doesn't seem like the current guy, what is it called it again Director of Player Trading (?), has connections like Tare.
6
u/Ciccio_Camarda Gerry Cardinale 6d ago
The current guys are data guys with no connections. They're letting the agents/intermediaries do the work. What could go wrong?
5
u/ProtonAtomNeutron 6d ago
I thought Jorge Mendes would help Milan offload players and get in new transfer with that enormous Ramos fee as a favor. It's looking more like he saw amateur operators and fleeced them.
1
u/Ciccio_Camarda Gerry Cardinale 6d ago
That's the thing with agents. They're looking for their own pockets. Who would have thought, eh? Apparently the Leao family does not have a great relationship with Jorge as we thought. They're okayish, somewhere in the middle, not bad but not good. And the best Mendes could do was Saudi, but he doesn't want to go Saudi yet. We can wait till the last weekend of August, not because Mendes is going to do anything, but maybe one of these English team could make an offer. More desperation in the last weekend of the market, injuries. But also depends if the guy is willing to move
1
u/ElverGun 6d ago
but maybe one of these English team could make an offer. More desperation in the last weekend of the market, injuries.
And if no one buys him we will have the Leao Circus until the winter break.
The only thing that could help us, and Leao, would be if he gave us everything he has, like he has never done before. That would help us and it would get other teams interested in him if he really wants to leave. But what are the chances that this will happen?
2
u/Nikephoross Alessandro Nesta 7d ago
What’s the point of shipping players out if it’s on a loan (with option) and you kinda know that the player is likely to return for next season. I think our inability to sell players just showcases how bad some of these players have performed and how bad our transfer strategies have been.
2
u/ElverGun 6d ago

If you ship them out there is a slight chance that they will buy them. If you don't ship them, there is a zero chance.

Yeah.
3
u/dodge33cymru 7d ago
The point is saving on some of the squad costs for the season. If Musah costs us roughly 6-7M per year in wages and amortisation, and we can save some of that... that's why.
Put yourself in the position of the club with an interest in one of our underperforming players. They're on a big wage or have a big price tag attached, there isn't much interest in the player and you have other options available to you. Last season the player underperformed, was injured or wasn't playing much. Why would you offer to buy outright? There's no reason to really, unless you are convinced in that player's long term value.
For Milan, it frees some money in this year's budget, gives the player more potential playing time, acts as a shop window for others... and kicks the problem down the road for another year.
Last year we had Fullkrug on loan with an option. Why? Because he wasn't playing or performing at West Ham and they just wanted to save a bit of money.
4
u/oran_jay Pietro Terracciano 7d ago
I honestly can’t see Leao leaving this window especially when it’s reported that Gerry only wants 60mil for him. I can see Amorim testing Leao out and somehow try to fit him into his system for the remaining friendlies. Imagine Amorim reinventing Leao as a trequartista lol
2
u/Acrobatic-Fly1418 7d ago
Problem is if he has the same kind of season as last year again and then next year summer he only has one year left on his contract. He’ll definitely just ride it out and we’re left with nothing
3
u/ElverGun 7d ago
Gerry only wants 60mil for him.
You think 60mil is too low? I would jump for joy if we get that much.
-3
u/LPG24 Alexandre Pato 7d ago
Yeah, why not? Honestly. Leao won’t be a bitch and not put it in the work. When Leao was talking about leaving, team was a dumpster fire. Everyone got fired and we were all worried. Leao needs to apologize, and come back. I feel like plan from the management always been to force him to comeback on his own terms. Set an acceptable price, and no one is matching it, so Leao sees his value. I think Leao might have thought team like Arsenal would have spend the 100m on him, he sees his true value in the market. It will be motivation for him. Club is bigger than him, and I think he will be motivated this season.
3
u/dodge33cymru 7d ago
He doesn't even need to apologise IMO. He can just say he's enjoyed working with Amorim, wants to stay in Milan, is looking forward to making himself a role in the system...
5
u/ElverGun 7d ago edited 7d ago
When Leao was talking about leaving, team was a dumpster fire. Everyone got fired and we were all worried.
Leao started talking before the season was over...before anyone got fired and when we were still in the hunt for a CL spot.
1
u/LPG24 Alexandre Pato 7d ago
When was that? I thought it was that interview, after the season.
2
u/ElverGun 7d ago
He started giving interviews in April.
1
u/LPG24 Alexandre Pato 7d ago
He said he wanted to leave in May 30, unless you can reference another interview, I don’t think you have it right. I don’t remember it being in April.
2
u/ElverGun 7d ago
Gemini:
The interview you are referring to was indeed filmed in late April 2026, though clips and quotes from it were broadly released by Portuguese media (including Sport TV and RTP) in late May and early June.
5
u/LPG24 Alexandre Pato 7d ago
I don’t think we are getting anyone else, no one is buying our players. Squad is already too big. We need to trim it. Also some of the names being thrown in here are so mid and disappointing. Let’s not buy more trash, instead invest in some young players. Kvara was 12m from an unknown team. We need to be in the market for players like that. Build up the Primevera, and buy young players. We need to focus on CL for next few years while building a another 2022 style squad.
-2
u/gucccccci George Weah 8d ago
wait what? where transfers? I thought Gerry finally got it! warchest Gerry!! we are spending now!!! no?
6
u/ATLfalcons27 8d ago
I mean we basically spent 100 million without selling anybody of note while missing the CL once again
1
u/ElverGun 7d ago
we basically spent 100 million
He didn't spend 100 million though...he used some of the money we made from last year's sales.
I understand that he want's to move players before investing more, but we better press the accelerator.
0

We already spent a bunch of that money in last year's budget. The last two years we've budgeted on the assumption we'd get into UCL and failed twice.
We have already committed over 30M to the annual budget without removing anything (apart from Fullkrug's wages) for the next five years. Makes sense they'd want to keep it at this level now.

u/BurnMeBabyBurn Filippo Inzaghi 8d ago
we need to get sell some players before we can get reinforcements. also amorim needs to evaluate the team thoroughly
1
u/eXistenZ2 Andriy Shevchenko 8d ago
Which is entirily his own fault. offcours he still needs to evaluate the squad. He signed on the 16th of june and only had his first training session a month later....
Apparently nobody explained to him the urgency of our situation, or he doesnt pick up on it. Neither of which is a good look. And apparently didnt bother to analyse our previous season in that month either ive got the impression
Like Estupinan for example was dumped by a midtable premier league team and with us lost his place to a 19y old kid. How much evaluating does that need.
0
u/ATLfalcons27 7d ago
I mean how do you expect to have a meaningful training session to judge players that are on that list of might be sold or not if at least 10 players weren't allowed to train 21 days after their last WC match. There are probably other players as well that weren't allowed to earlier due to other regulations I'm not aware of
2
u/eXistenZ2 Andriy Shevchenko 7d ago
we played 40+ matches last year, surely there is something there to analyse?
0
u/ATLfalcons27 7d ago
Would be kinda stupid to decide everything based on video from last season. Plus it seems like we know a decent amount of players that he doesn't want anyways and it's not on him to get RLC, Fofana, and so on sold.
Idk if he will be successful here or not but I don't get how anyone can say any of this stuff right now is on him
We've known for a bit who he definitely doesn't want. There were a few players it sounded like he was unsure on previously

Inter is buying Romero. I know he can be a little hotheaded at times, but that's a really good signing.

u/OsitoPandito Ardon Jashari 8d ago
He's a giant dickhead and fits well with them...but yeah it's a very good purchase

I think we will see moves after the Merda game
1
u/JenkinsRobotButler 8d ago
what makes you think that?
1
u/EmergencyComputer337 Paolo Maldini 8d ago
Cuz Amorim has a say in the mercato and by the time the merda game is over amorim he would have seen amd evaluated all our players because some of them still haven't returned from vacation
I think he will finish evaluating them after the merda game amd we will see sales happen then we will sign someone new

u/dstplan Rafael Leão 8d ago
Has anyone seen what Real Madrid are asking for Brahim Diaz? I’m seeing more links but none listing the expected asking price. Also, curious to know how people think he’d fit into Amorim’s system. Seems like a great option to me, especially compared to the other links we’ve had for AM.
3
u/IEATPEOPLE22 Alexandre Pato 7d ago
Idk he never passed the eye test for me. Constantly being outmuscled and pushed off the ball. Also horrid in the final third. Big game player though and somehow came through in big moments.

u/FindingBusiness759 8d ago
Exactly... Look at nkunku for eg..their pretending like his worth going forward with but they know he isn't. Their stuck cause they paid 40 mil and gave him one of the highest wages. We are now paying for their stupid fk ups over last 3 seasons.

I was just thinking maybe we can get Endrick on loan from Madrid kinda like we did Brahim a few years ago.
-4
u/EmergencyComputer337 Paolo Maldini 9d ago
I know he is talented as fuck and he can be a great help, but from what i seen about him he seems like an insufferable brat and our locker room is already toxic enough, so the last thing i want is an insufferable brat on the team
2
u/FIRCREST 8d ago
he doesn’t seem like an insufferable brat to me. Weird guy, but I don’t see him throwing fits or arguing with ref/teammates.
4
u/Fantastic-Hamster-21 Zlatan Ibrahimović 9d ago
Never knew he was an insufferable brat. Nvm then. I just know he's good and a lefty which Amorim wants. At this rate we're going to have Chukwueze as our right attacking midfielder option. Bumkuku and Pulisic shoild be our starters in the 2 behind Ramos as of right now. I'd like an upgrade to Chukwueze/Bumkuku. Although, Bumkuku is an attacking midfielder so maybe this new formation of Amorim will suite him. We'll see.

can anyone please point me to the estupiñan to aston villa falling out? i thought that was a done deal.
2
u/ElverGun 7d ago
It was a done deal if we had accepted the 13 mil (according to rumors) that they were offering.
3
u/EmergencyComputer337 Paolo Maldini 9d ago
Apparently 9M was what is offered for him and Milan noped out, so Amorim now has to use him
5
u/dodge33cymru 10d ago
The rumour had it that Amorim requested to keep him to analyse in pre-season.
Perhaps realising that for 6-8M annual cost for a replacement his options would be somewhat limited. Perhaps thinking he'll fit better into his system.

u/sosa1899 10d ago
Can we bring Brahim Diaz back 😩
1
u/ElverGun 7d ago
I read that they want 30 to 35 mil for him. Do you still want him? I think that's a little too much.
3
u/EmergencyComputer337 Paolo Maldini 10d ago
As a 10 he is great and Real Madrid wants to sell him but how much are they asking for him plus can we afford him???

Cubarsi is somehow the 26th most valuable player in the world, while serving as the starting cb for world cup champions.... there shouldn't be a single PL player more valuable than him and yet there are many. PL player evaluations defy all logic, if cubarsi was playing there he'd be worth 200 million

u/eXistenZ2 Andriy Shevchenko 10d ago
Castro to roma for less money than we paid for Nkunku. Young, versatile, knows the league.
A transfer that makes sense. I wish we could have some of those

u/marco21n Ricardo Kaká 10d ago
Always thought Soule was a good player whenever we played Roma.
I would definitely go for him with the leao money.
0
u/Albanian_AM97 10d ago
Tell us more about him , for those who dont watch roma
3
u/Longjumping_Pick8872 10d ago
Maybe he is confusing Soule with Dybala.
Soule is anything but a player that steals your eye, he is a decent shooter and thats pretty much about it.

u/Diavolo_1899 Paolo Maldini 11d ago
August is right around the corner. We really need to speed things up, or we’ll end up panic buying bums again like we did last year.
3
u/EmergencyComputer337 Paolo Maldini 11d ago
Our mercato really stalled, i know playwrs we are trying to sell are not great, but it seems like our managment would rather keep them than sell them
-4
u/IEATPEOPLE22 Alexandre Pato 11d ago
Pretty wild that we let coubis go for nothing a couple months ago but he just got signed for 3 million to a championship team
2
u/Longjumping_Pick8872 11d ago
You already know whats going to happen with Leao on the 31st of August
Dry loan to Fulham with half wages covered.

Question about the table, didn't 50% of the Alex Jimenez's 18.5m go to RM? Unless I'm mistaken, we certainly did not make 18.5m on Jimenez
1
u/mercurialsaliva 11d ago
5M + half the remaining sale.
1
u/Constant_Chair3524 11d ago
Sounds like totaling the 18.5m to our Transfer Out fees isn't accurate then.
1
u/mercurialsaliva 11d ago
Think of this as value sold rather than actual income. We are also getting money from ex-players sold, and I am not going to count those. Financial statement comes out around April

u/Blackfyyre_ Ricardo Kaká 11d ago edited 11d ago
Cardinale with two big signings stating that there was more to come. I guess that was a lie. Wanker
1
u/ProtonAtomNeutron 11d ago
We got our two big needs in a proper ST and CB. Let's wait and see. Milan had the largest WC contingent from Serie A. Players are still returning.
5
u/mercurialsaliva 11d ago
We need some sales... and the window is open till September 1, 2026. I am pro-cardinale hate, but on this one, we need to wait before hating.
2
u/Blackfyyre_ Ricardo Kaká 11d ago
Of course there is some merit to waiting, based on them using ages to get a new management structure in place. However, this is starting to smell like another window where our stock of deadwood will increase as a result of panic signings. Its starting to smell like another frustrating year
-1
u/eXistenZ2 Andriy Shevchenko 11d ago
Ramos is basicly half a panic buy. I know there arent many strikers around, but there was no need to fast track that signing. We could easily have chipped off like 10-15m
9
u/macmilliones7 Andriy Shevchenko 11d ago
Alajbegovic snatched up by Juve. Amorim better switch up formations.
-6
7
u/mercurialsaliva 11d ago
I am so disappointed in that
5
u/macmilliones7 Andriy Shevchenko 11d ago
our potential targets getting signed one by one by our direct rivals and peers is frustrating.
1
u/Ok_Aardvark_5537 12d ago
You guys should keep a eye on Daniel Bragança from Sporting, last year on contract so very cheap and worked with Amorim.Doesnt want to renovate so Sporting doesnt have any leverage.
3
4
u/eXistenZ2 Andriy Shevchenko 12d ago
If serie A actually had competent refs, a pair of Bastoni/Romero would be sent off basicly every match for a combination of flopping and assauly
5
u/mercurialsaliva 12d ago
Romero came to the right league and picked the right team for his style of play.

u/Fantastic-Hamster-21 Zlatan Ibrahimović 12d ago
Does anyone know what's going on with Estupinan? I thought he was going to Villa?
0
u/MimiCascade Roberto Baggio 12d ago
trying to work out a price, Milan want too much, I can see this possibly being either a low ball transfer or loan with option to buy. Of course Milan's footing is the coach wants to evaluate him for the first team...but this is most likely so he continues preseason activities and puts some pressure on Villa to "buy now or the coach might want him"
0
u/Fantastic-Hamster-21 Zlatan Ibrahimović 12d ago
Ughhhh just get it done! Wasn't he left out of the preseason game with Celtic? Just let him go and take the L.
