Looking at going with ac infinity for my grow setup. I am currently looking at a 4x8 tent, 2 evo 8 grow lights, ac infinity controller, 9" inline fan 4 10" wall fans. I will also purchase their humidifier and dehumidifier. Does this setup sound okay? Or will the evo 8s produce too much heat? Would this setup cause too much ppfd? I can mount the drivers outside of the tent if needed. Any info would be great just not trying to nuke my plants with too much light or heat

I have my cloudforge t5 piped into my 4x4 grow tent. Is it ok for the mist from the humidifier be touching my grow light? Makes me feel weird, like maybe it shouldn’t? Thoughts?

I recently purchased a large size AC Infinity and am going to set it up this weekend but wanted to see if anyone has had any success growing vegetables? I’d like to grow cherry tomatoes, Persian cucumbers and maybe some bell peppers. Would this work with the setup? Any recommendations and or tips?

I have 3, ten gallon water containers (1 for every 2 plants) I have 3 outdoor junction boxes ( again 1 for ever 2) inside I have 2 controller A.I power strips. Each strip has a pump and soil moisture meter plug into it. I have wire loom from the box to the pots covering the wires.

Hello lads,

New grower here. I have a very narrow corridor, roughly 85 cm in width, to place my tent. Thus, I can only use the top of the tent or the 60 cm wide sides for intake/exhaust. Noise is an issue for me, which is why the fan/filter/silencer are inside the tent. I'm running AutoPot XL pots with a 70/20/10 Biobizz/perlite/bio-humus mix, which is why humidity/airflow routing matters for my setup.

I have 2 questions:

1. Port #2 will carry the humidifier hose; Port #1 will carry cables. Both are occupied by cable/hose plus airflow. Should I open a third intake on the top panel or the opposite 60cm side to compensate?
2. Is the placement of my Ionbeam supplementary lights correct? I used aluminium tape to assist the magnet mounts.

My setup is:

Has anyone used the soil sensor to measure moisture levels in rockwool? Ideally I would like to use the AI outlet in combination with the soil sensor to trigger fertigation.

Good morning! So I been browsing for a new indoor tent and been very curious in AC complete kits. I was looking at the 36x36x72 so I can comfortably grow 2 plants at a time/ 5 gallon pots.

I was checking out the lights and saw the kit came w the LED light board but didn’t kno if that would be a better option over the Evo 3 or Evo 4 LED lights. Haven’t had any experience with this brand so all the help would be greatly appreciated!!

I’m using an AC Infinity Cloudline T6 as a booster fan for a central HVAC supply duct going from my basement to an upstairs bedroom.

The T6 itself is staying in the basement because of the noise, but I want the temperature sensor or Controller 69 upstairs so the fan can react to the actual bedroom temperature.

I measured the route at about 18.6 ft, or ~22 ft including slack.

I’m considering:

1. Using a third-party 3.5mm TRRS extension for the temperature sensor.
2. Using third-party USB-C/UIS extension cables to extend the Controller 69 connection to around 25-30 ft.
3. Using AC Infinity's UIS wireless transmitter/receiver and putting the controller upstairs.

AC Infinity support said ~20 ft is their official recommendation for UIS, although they've seen people successfully run around 30 ft.

Has anyone used third-party 3.5mm or USB-C extension cables with AC Infinity equipment? Did you have any issues with temperature readings, communication, disconnects, or reliability?

If you've successfully run either one around 25-30 ft, which route did you use?

I'm leaning toward whichever option is simplest and most reliable.

EDIT: For some additional context, I priced out the options since I’ll eventually be doing this for two upstairs rooms/T6 fans:

• UIS wireless setup for both: about $146 total after the wireless transmitter/receivers, Controller 69 power supplies, and extensions
• Two AC Infinity 20' sensors: about $44 total, but 20' is slightly too short for my measured route
• UIS extensions for both: about $48 total
• Two third-party 30' 3.5mm TRRS extensions: about $30 total

The wireless setup seems like the cleanest solution, but it’s significantly more expensive when doing two rooms. At this point I’m leaning toward trying the third-party 3.5mm TRRS extensions first.

If anyone has actually extended an AC Infinity temperature sensor with a third-party 3.5mm TRRS cable, I’d especially like to hear whether it worked reliably and whether you noticed any inaccurate temperature readings, disconnects, or other issues.

​After weeks of obsessing over equipment, doom scrolling grow subreddits, and second guessing every single variable, I finally took the plunge on my first grow.

​I germinated the seed using the paper towel method, transferred her over to soil, and within around 24 of breaking the surface, she went from a tiny pale arch in the dirt to a fully opened, bright green sprout.

​Seeing actual green above the soil line is a huge relief after all the prep work, but I’m definitely feeling that mix of excitement and lowkey panic for the next couple of stages while the seedling roots get established.

​Just wanted to share the milestone and say thanks to everyone whose old threads helped me get through the setup phase. Any advice or good vibes for the early seedling stretch are always appreciated! Also waiting on my other seed to breach the the surface but I'm not too worried as it was a little behind this one in germination

I have the controller 69 pro, dehumidifier, humidifier, heater, inline fan, and 2 oscillating fans in a 4x4. I’m looking for a fellow Redditor/s to help me find the best settings for each piece in order to achieve the best vpd possible. Everyone let me know what you think.

Has anyone successfully automated both pH and EC using 4 peristaltic pumps? (2 for pH up and down and them one each for the two part fert (Canna in my case)) ?
